In less than three weeks after Jinx's... diagnosis, the Zaunite Generals had devised a plan to save Ekko. One she was unaware of, one she was not invited into. This would be because of her pregnancy, and her status. A Princess can't be off fighting wars! Not without an heir or other planned ruler, who would be Ekko.

The plan was simple. Send a child in, screaming about the 'monsters.' Then while the Council was distracted, the Generals would sneak in and attack, rescuing Ekko as quickly as possible and leaving just as quickly. This would also be the plan they attempted to carry out two nights later. Something, however, stopped them.

Jinx's life had only gotten difficult since she discovered she was pregnant. 'Why her?' 'Why now?' 'What would she tell Ekko?' 'What would Silco have thought?' These were all questions she asked herself. Awake for days, the Zaunite Princess paced her bedroom. The night had fallen, and everyone was meant to be in bed. So why was there a noise in the hall? Footsteps, three sets. Two men, one woman. Jinx's eyes flickered as she left her bedroom, catching the Generals red-handed.

"What are you all doing? It's late; you should all be in bed." She crossed her arms, looking between the three like a mother just caught her toddler drawing on the wall. "Well," Heimerdinger began. "We..were going to surprise you!" He said. "For the baby, I mean." Jinx rolled her eyes. "You're lying. You wouldn't dare, because you know I don't want it." She frowned. Viktor sighed. "We cannot lie to her, sir." He said before looking to Jinx. "We were going to rescue Ekko." He confessed with a sigh.

"I'm coming with you," she responded.
"What? No!" Heimerdinger.

"You don't get to tell me no, old man." She glared.

"We are all saying no, Jinx. Our next-in-line is captured, and you are carrying the only heir. We must say no." Viktor cut in. She growled at him, grabbing her gun.

"I don't care."
Heimerdinger sighed. "There's no point in arguing, come on then." He said in a defeated tone.

And they were off.
