"What do you know that Jinx doesn't already know about herself?" Mel asked.

The woman smiled as she removed her cloak. She checked a small monitor and nodded. "I was right. Princess Jinx may become a Queen soon, to put it simply," She said, cringing at the words Princess and Jinx. She didn't like it. Caitlyn nodded slowly.

"And we care because...?"

"Idiots," The woman mumbled. "You should care because this means that there's an easy target. Someone you can use as bait to capture her," She explained. "Do any of you even know who I am?" She asked, giving an exasperated sigh before a facepalm followed suit.

"Of course we do. You're Chief Commander of Zaun," Jayce said.
"And my name is?"
"Sevika."

"Alright then. Call me that," She said, turning her attention to the girls again. "So, I have a strategy in mind..."

-5 weeks later-

After that..eventful night, Jinx and Ekko had been spending their time trying to clean up Zauns streets, getting rid of Shimmer factories and working on anecdotes to its dangerous effects. They would also do small things, morning hugs, random kisses. At some point, they were separated for a few hours. In fact, everyone went to bed. It was late at night, everyone in the building except Sevika and Ekko were asleep. Sevika had asked him to come to the west hall to talk to him about something private. When they met, Sevika wasn't alone. She had several Piltonian guards with her that were able to capture Ekko and take him away. While they were on their way to leave, Sevika slid a note under Jinx's door. It read:

"To Princess Jinx I of Zaun,

We hope this letter finds you in good health. We feel required to inform you that we have taken General Ekko to Piltover. He will remain here under our guards constant watch unless you surrender or we defeat you. Otherwise, you will not see your General again. In the event that you do surrender or we defeat you, he will be returned and you will be punished for your crimes of conspiracy, war crimes, Mass murder, Assault, Terrorism, Theft, Vandalism, Kidnapping, Animal cruelty, Aggravated jaywalking, Larceny, Impersonation, Forgery, and Patricide. If you do not, we will hold him here until the both of you are deceased. We look forward to seeing your arrival at Piltover soon.

In the morning, Jinx woke up early and, after getting dressed, she saw the note. Carefully, she picked it up and began reading. When she finished, she paused. Staring at the door. Was this real? No way. She won fair and square! After she snapped out of it, She let out a scream so loud Piltover could hear it. That definitely got their attention.

Heimerdinger was the first to enter the room. Then Viktor, then a few other guards.
"They took him," She said, her voice weak. She looked up at them, the pink in her eyes like a firey flame that was ready to destroy anything in its path. "They took the general," She repeated.

"Who did?" Heimerdinger asked, waddling over to her (he's adorable istfg) and picking up the note, reading it. His expression was solemn. He sighed, handing the note to Viktor, and it was passed throughout the group.

Jinx fell silent. Completly still. Not a single tears fell from her eyes. Like her to everone else, her own world was frozen. As if all clocks had stopped turning, as if the planet quit rotating, quit orbiting.

She had no one.

Months passed before the Princess even considered the idea of leaving her room. She stayed at her desk day and night, creating a plan to get him out, with only posted guards and occasional guards as her company. She mumbled to herself constantly. And though she ate less, it became more and more apparent that her stomach was getting larger.

"Your Majesty, I think it might be time to think.." a guard began. "That you may be pregnant?"
Jinx scoffed at the suggestion. "As if. I could never get pregnant. I mean, Ekko's been gone for months and he was the last person I.." She trailed off, looking down to the ground.
"..No, no, no!" She muttered, eyes trailing back up to the guard.
"Bring Heimerdinger to me. Now."
