Winter Kiss

Part 2

I was done with all my work when I reached home. Yeah forgot to mention that after a year Snow and I broke up cause she had to move away to another country, while I had got my first job as a manager of a company which designed car models. I had a hard time without her but I managed it.

She was the first and last girl I dated, after her, there was no one in my life.

After reaching home, I cooked myself dinner and ate it all alone. I was about to go to sleep when someone called me. Picking up the call I asked, "Hello who is this?".

A familiar voice appeared "Hello Alex, this is your boss, I excepted you to save my number"

I facepalmed as I replied, "I am so sorry boss I didn't see your caller I'd so-".
He laughed then said, "I am sorry to bother you at this time but tomorrow we will be having a new joiner, I hope you wouldn't mind going out with her and showing our company?"

I smiled and replied, "Sure Sir". He proudly said, " Ah! What a good manager I have. Well better sleep now, good night hope you come early to work". I chuckled at his sweetness, he has always been encouraging me. I replied to him "Yes sir, good night." With this, he ended the call. I sighed and slept peacefully forgetting about what my boss had asked me to do.

In the morning I heard my phone ringing but I ignored it still dreaming. Again and again, someone was calling me as I groaned and picked it up." Hello," My boss with a little worried tone asked, "Where are you Alex?". I was going to reply as I realized "Oh - uhm -yeah I am going - I meant I am coming it's just-" He cut me off by saying "Yes but be quick." I hummed I respond and hang up the call while quicking getting ready. Making sure I locked my door, I head to my office which wasn't that far.

I was about to go inside my boss's cabin but I got bumped into someone. "Sorry, my bad." I get up and helped her to get up quickly, her hair was covering her face so I wasn't able to see who she was.

I went inside and bowed saying "Sorry sir it was my fault for being late" my breath was audible to him and I was catching my breath slowly. He smiled and showed me his hand indicating that it was okay. I sighed and smiled back at him as he softly spoke "Alex there is no hurry, our new joiner was late too. She is standing outside, you both can go and please show jer the company." I bowed again "Thank you, I will have my leave." While saying that I left his office and looked around to find the new joiner of our company.

I looked at a figure standing while facing to the side due to which I was able to see her back only. Moving towards her,I tapped her shoulder. She turned around and looked at me. I was shocked.

Her eyes were similar, her lips were similar and she was similar. Looking into her eyes all my memories flashed before my mind. All I could see is our first kiss and heard our giggle together
