Kassa gaped at what lay over the mountain's edge, her mouth hanging open. Even Sarkon couldn't contain his awe, his eyes were wide and his eyebrows were raised. The Winged Stallion pranced around, kicking his legs and snorting with glee. Sembi's white blood filled with joy as he met his long lost blood relatives.

Beautiful, it was just beautiful. Over the lip of the mountain in a shallow dip lay a small town. Snow topped roofs lay atop small quaint huts, built for the cold. Beautiful horses glided up onto various ledges surrounding the huts, just like Sembi! But what made it the most beautiful thing, was not the horses or the houses, or the power ripe winds, it was the dragons.

Metallic beautiful scales were placed perfectly onto each dragon, so perfect they looked polished because of the glint and shine that sparked off them. Their heads were four times the size of Sarkon, who looked dwarfed compared to them. Somehow they seemed even more graceful than Sembi and definitely more powerful. I could almost feel the incredible amount of power that radiated off them. There were around ten in all, but they were an endangered species and strong enough to crush a village with a place of their claw.

Out of all of the dragons, one caught my eye especially, it had snow white scales that shone brighter than any star. She was a female, but she was bigger than most of them. But my eyes lingered on one of her beautiful features, her eyes. They were the colour of the crepuscular dawn that shattered the sky, once in a blue moon. The female had long sharp claws that would put the phrase 'needle sharp' to shame.

I couldn't stop him as Sembi charged off into the magical land that lay before us, his eyes gleaming with hope and pride, and a sense of belonging.

"Impressive." Sarkon admitted. I could have slapped him for that statement alone, impressive barely captured the atmosphere of the magnificent... place. "They might not be friendly, remember we have to keep hidden I can only hope that they don't recognise Sembi for not one of their own." I really wanted to slap him now. You ruined the moment! I thought harshly. "Let's hang back and observe them from a safe distance, we don't know their weapons yet." Except for the huge hungry hell-bent dragons. Except to be honest the dragons looked as docile as a lamb. But I was sure, that wasn't true at all.

The Warrior grabbed my shoulder and crouched me down effortlessly, I had forgotten the strength in his arms. "Damn you! Can't we just admire it a bit more?"
"You sound like your out of your mind. This is not a museum, you don't have to pretend to be interested."
"Hey!" I pushed his shoulder hard, but he barely shifted. Sarkon just crouched watching the town intently. "What are they going to do?"
"Have you forgotten who I am?" He gestured to himself, to his yellow markings on his face.
"No." I grumbled. Ugh, he always wins! I resulted to watching the white dragon curl up on a snowy ledge. She blended in so well whenever I took my eyes off her, it took me at least ten minutes to find her again. So wonderful! I thought. She truly was.

Sembi timidly trotted towards a young male white blood Stallion. The other male was larger, and bucked his legs towards Sembi who scurried off. Later on he approached a female. She looked at him, tracking his every movement before lightly sniffing him. Sembi's whole body seemed to ripple in excitement as he let her understand his scent.

"When can we go down there? I want to congratulate Sembi on his new girlfriend." I sniggered. The Stallion now showed off his golden wings to the female.
"Few days." Sarkon's cold face shrunk my smile.
"Days!" I exclaimed "I thought you meant hours!" Even minutes. I admitted to myself. So I lay on the cold snow and waited. I had to stop myself from curling up into Sarkon's warmth. I still hadn't let myself think anymore on my feelings for him, it would only end up in trouble.

I had come to a decision he didn't... love me back...

Or maybe he was just extremely talented at hiding it...
