There was a guy with a Mickey Mouse shirt on sitting on the floor with a guy that had a tattoo on his arm and they were sharing a chocolate cake while drinking beer. On the couch there was a tan boy who looked really shy, next to him was a guy with brown hair that wasn't greased back like the rest had. In the arm chair their was a guy reading a newspaper. Then there was another guy who was walking into the living room from the kitchen who looked like the guy from the gas station.
"Hey guys!" Ponyboy said as we walked in. "Hey who's the broad Pony?" The guy that didn't have grease in his hair asked. I looked at him with a cold stare, I hated being called a broad. "Oh this is Y/n Y/L/N everyone, she helped me when I got jumped and needs a place to stay so I brought her here" he explained. The guy with the newspaper in his hand go up and came over to us. "You helped Ponyboy with those Socs today?" He asked. "Yup" I answered. "Well thank you and you can stay here for as long as you would like" he said with a smile.
Ponyboy introduced me to the gang and the shy tam one is Johnny who is 16, the one with the Mickey obsession is Keith Mathews but they call him Two-Bit and he is 18. The one with the tattoo and weird teeth is Steve Randle and his best friend is Sodapop Curtis the one from the gas station, they are 17. The one who was reading the newspaper is Darrel Curtis but they call him Darry as he is 20. Last but not least is the one who doesn't wear hair grease his name is Dallas Winston but they call him Dally, he is 17.
Ponyboy told me that him, Sodapop, and Darry are all brothers.
We were all hanging out and I got to know the boys pretty well. I feel bad for poor Johnny, his parents don't care about him and just beat him around like my dad did to me. Ponyboy warned me about Dallas, he had been in and out of the cooler and loves to hook up with girls then just leave them. Sodapop has a girlfriend named Sandy and apparently the gang doesn't like her very much, especially Steve. Two-Bit has a major Mickey Mouse obsession and is always watching the show. I didn't really get to know much about Steve but me and him have gotten kind of close. Darry works too hard for a 20 year old because he is trying to earn money to pay bills and has been doing so since their parents died. Pony loves sunsets and books, something me and him have in common.
The gang was hanging around the Curtis' house for the whole day until it got dark. They all went home and Soda helped me get all settled in.
"Hey Y/n" Soda said. "Yeah" I responded. "Can you help me with something?" He asked. "Sure" I said. "Okay, I'm not too sure on where to take Sandy for a date and was wondering if you can help me" he said with his movie star smile. "Well either take her to a movie or out to eat" I said. "Thanks Y/n" he said hugging me.
Everyone went to bed so I went to sleep on the couch.
