We had just got done talking to Ponyboy on how he should apologize to Y/n so I went in the living room to watch some tv. I went into the living room and went to grab a piece of cake off the coffee table but saw a note.
"He Darry there is some note on the coffee table!!" I shouted to Darry. Darry came into the living room and picked up the note or whatever it is.
"It's from Y/n" Darry said. Ponyboy came running in the living room with the rest of the gang following behind him. Darry started to read the letter.
"Dear gang,
Im sorry for leaving but I have to, Im getting sick of me and Ponyboy fighting all the time. It's caused me to think that we are in an unhealthy relationship which I hate to think, but it's true. He's always stressed about school and other things and I feel like I'm the reason for it all.
Ponyboy I'm really sorry for being the reason you are so stressed all the time. That's why I'm leaving town for a little bit so you can have a normal life. Sodapop I'm sorry for being the reason you are always in between me and Ponyboy choosing sides. You are my best friend and I love you. Two-bit I'm sorry you won't have anyone to make jokes with anymore, but don't worry one day I'll be back (hopefully). Darry I'm sorry for staying here and making more problems and being another mouth to feed. Steve I'm sorry I won't be there to prank Soda with you anymore. But like I said I will hopefully be back soon. Dally I'm sorry for staying with you at Buck's when times got worse. Johnny I'm sorry I won't be there for you when you are having a hard time with your parents.
I'm really for leaving like this guys, but I think it's best for me to be gone for awhile. I love you all so so much never forget that. Also I'm sorry Ponyboy but I'm breaking up with you, all we do is fight.

"S-She left?" Ponyboy asked kind of panicking.
"Yeah I guess so" Darry said.
"She just needs a break Ponyboy" Sodapop said tearing up. I knew him and Y/n were really close, they were best friends.
"I-I feel so bad" Ponyboy said stuttering as he was starting to tear up. Then he ran in to his and Soda's room.

'Y/n is gone' I thought. My girlfriend Y/n is gone because of me and I know it. She would always run to the park or lot after a fight, but she left town this time. It's not going to be the same without her here with us.
All I could think about was the letter and what I had said to her. Now she hates me and she broke up with me because of how I treated her and I feel absolutely horrible.
