It has been 2 years since I have left Tulsa and I'm 16 years old now. I was only supposed to stay here in Windrixville for only a few weeks but it kind of turned into 2 years.
I still feel bad for breaking up with Ponyboy and leaving Tulsa but I just needed a break, a long one. To be honest, I don't really know if I want to go back now I like it here living with Emily and her mom. But I know one day I'll have to go back to Tulsa though.
I had just woken up and and gotten dressed. I went in the kitchen to see Emily's mom making breakfast.
"Good morning Y/n" she said.
"Good morning Alissa" I said. Her name is Alissa.
After breakfast me and Emily just talked and watched tv until Alissa called over to the door.
"Y/n someone is here to see you!" Alissa shouted so I could hear her.
"Okay I'm coming!" I shouted back.
I got up and went over to the door, and to my surprise Dallas Winston was standing there.

*2 days ago*
I got bored and went to Windrixville just for the day to get out of town. When I got there I went into this little store to get a snack but I saw someone familiar. 'Is that Y/n?' I thought. Nah that couldn't be her she left about 2 years ago.
"Here ya go Y/n" I heard the cashier say. The cashier must know her. 'That is Y/n!' I thought. I quickly hid so she would see me, then she left and I payed for my stuff.
*10 minutes ago*
It's been like 2 days since I saw Y/n at that store and I'm going to ask her to come back to Tulsa. The whole gang hasn't been the same since she had left, so I'm going to ask her to come back.
I went back into the store I saw her in so I could ask the cashier if she knew where Y/n was.
"Hey do you know anybody named Y/n Y/l/n?" I asked the cashier.
"Uh yeah I do" she responded.
"Well I'm her friend back from her home town do you know where she is?" I asked.
She told me the address to Y/n's house so went there. When I got there I knocked on the door.
*now*
I knocked on the door and a lady answered.
"Hey is Y/n here?" I asked her.
"Uh yeah just a sec" she responded. "Y/n someone is here to see you!" She shouted.
"Okay I'm coming!" I heard from the other room. Then I saw Y/n.

I walked over to the door to see Dallas Winston.
"Dally what are you doing here?" I asked.
"I was just coming to ask if you could please come back to Tulsa" he said. 'Going back to Tulsa?' I thought.
"Please Y/n the gang hasn't been the same without ya, especially Ponyboy and Sodapop so please?" He pleaded. I was really thinking about it for a second. 'Why not?' I thought.
"Um yeah sure just let me get all my things and say goodbye" I said.
"Okay I'll be waiting in the car" he said walking back to his car.
"I'm so sorry Alissa, but I need to go back" I said feeling bad.
"Hey don't worry about it, any time you need to come back to Windrixville don't hesitate to come here" she said hugging me.
"Thanks" I said hugging back.
I went to my room and packed up all my things and went to say goodbye to Emily.
"Bye Emily" I said hugging her.
"Bye Y/n have fun in Tulsa" she said hugging back.
"Thanks I will" I said and walked out the door and into Dally's car. I got in and we started to drive down the street.
"Why'd you leave Tulsa for so long?" Dally asked breaking the silence.
"Because I thought I was going to stay here in Windrixville for only a few weeks, but it ended up being 2 years" I said. "How did you even find me?" I asked.
"I asked some cashier at a little store, that's where I saw you like 2 days ago" He responded.
The rest of the way back to Tulsa we just talked and caught up for lost time. When we arrived at the Curtis' house it brought back so many memories.
We walked in the house and nobody noticed us yet.
"Hey guys I brought an old friend!" Dally said catching everyone's attention.
"Y/n!!" They all yelled and came running over to me and hugged me.
"I missed you so much Y/n!" Sodapop said hugging me giving me his movie star smile that I always loved.
Everyone hugged me and we all started talking. They all told me what happened over those 2 years I was gone. Two-bit is now 20, Steve is 18, Sodapop is also 18, Darry is 22, Dally is 19, Johnny is 18, and Ponyboy is 16. Me and Pony are the same age.
I missed talking with the gang so much. Darry said I can stay in my old room again. I feels so good to finally be back in Tulsa again.
