Time jump:

Though my eyes are open I can't think of why; my heart is pounding, my mind empty. It's as if a hypodermic of adrenaline has been emptied into my carotid. I strain into the utter darkness, my breathing rate beginning to steady. My entire body was drenched in sweat, the sheets sticking to my back in a disgusting manner. Turning my head towards my bedroom window, I noticed the moon brighter than I have ever seen it.

Pushing myself off the bed, I shivered at the cold air hitting my wet back. Making an attempt at standing up, I fell back into the bed with a gasp of pain. My legs felt like jelly, while it felt as if my back had a pile of bricks over it. "What the hell?" Hearing a soft knock, I call out.

Aaron walked in, closing the door behind him. "How are you feeling?"

"Like I just went head to heads with Fluffy." I groaned, soothing the side of my head. "What happened?"

"What do you remember?" He asked.

"I remember we-that-I remember we went-" I opened and closed my mouth a few times. My mind was coming up blank. In fact, there were many blank sections I know something was there, but for some reason, I couldn't find it. Clips would appear and then nothing. Just blackness. "Nothing. I'm coming up blank."

"Then I must have hit you harder than I thought." Aaron offered me a sheepish grin. "We were sparring, things got heated and well, let's just say you need to learn how to dodge a kick to the head."

Falling back on the bed with a groan, I tried remembering the past events. But my mind was coming up in blanks. I remember many things. I know why I am here, but there was something missing. I felt empty in a way. Almost as if something had been stolen from me.

Aaron took a seat on the edge of the bed, placing a hand on my ankle. "It will come back to you, don't force it. It will just give you a headache."

"So, what's planned for today?" The only way not thinking about would work, is if I got distracted by something else.

Aaron chuckled. "Wanna learn how to dodge a kick?"

Grabbing a pillow I tossed it at his head. "I know-how, you must have gotten me distracted."

"Well, I was shirtless." He wiggled his brows with a sly smirk. "You couldn't keep your eyes off me."

"Ptff. You sure I was the only one that got hit on the head?"

Tossing the pillow back with an eye roll, he stood off the bed. "Get dressed. I also came in here to tell you he is asking for you."

"Do you know for what?" I got a shake of his head. "Okay."

"When you are done there, come find me at the circle."

Waiting for the sound of the door closing, I jumped off the bed and straight into my closet. Picking out the outfit, followed by a shower. As I was changing I glanced in the mirror doing a double-take. With a confused look, I stared at my reflection. Something was off. My stomach had stretch marks and was larger than before. While in the shower I also noticed I was sore between my legs. I wasn't sure why seeing I have never had sex. Deciding to speak with Cissy later on the subject I finished changing. I was out the door within an hour. Walking into the dining room, I found Snape, Bellatrix, and Voldemort waiting for me. They sat around the long gothic table. Lucius had a weird taste in decorating.

"You wanted to see me?" My eyes were focused on Bella. Any movement she made, I watched. She was the type of person you could never turn your back on. I have learned that the hard way throughout my time here. I was just waiting for the moment I could twist her neck. "What do you want?"

Voldemort looked up with a sly grin. "Ahh, Athena, I heard you were injured."

I frowned. "Head bump during training."

"All better?" He asked.

Since when did he care when I got hurt. "Yes."

"Good. Good." He tapped the table a few times with his finger. "Leave us." Both Snape and Bella stood up and walked out of the room. Bellatrix waved her wand at me in a teasing way.

"Grow up." I snapped.

Voldemort stayed seated, his snake-like eyes watching me. I always wondered what happened to him. I knew he wasn't always like this, so how did he become this?

"Does the name Sirius Black mean anything to you?" He suddenly asked.

"Sirius Black? I know of him, but he holds no meaning to me." Why was my heart pounding against my chest? Almost as if it wanted out. My hands were beginning to sweat. "I have never met him. He used to be one of yours?"

Voldemort shook his head. "No, but I tried."

"Why do you ask?"

"Curiosity." He stood from the chair, walking over to a tiny bar section. "How are Malfoy and you doing with the task?"

"We are getting there." I replied. "Malfoy needs a little more training, but he will get there."

"And yourself?"

"I am ready."

His grin got larger. "I expect this to go without any issues."

I nodded stiffly. "Our pact still remains the same correct. No harm to my family and I will remain by your side. But should that be broken, I will be coming for you."

Voldemort chuckled with a deep rumble. Spinning around to face me, he was still laughing. "The pact is still the same." A hand landed on my shoulder, squeezing tightly. "But unless you wish the opportunity to live a long happy life, don't threaten me."

Shrugging him off, I stepped back. "It wasn't a threat. My lord." The last words were spoken when a growl, I walked out of the room.
