'The ministry has fallen.' Ghostly imagines swarmed around the ball. Wizards fighting with death eaters. Screams echoing. 'The minister of magic is dead.'

'They are coming.' A man's voice uttered. 'They are coming.'

Disappearing the light came back, but did nothing in alleviating the people. "Aaron?"

"We need to go." Grabbing her hand he quickly leads her toward the entrance. "They must not see you here." Before he could reach it, a death eater appeared in front of them.

"Aaron." The man cackled with a wide smile. "Oh, the dark lord is going to love this. I knew there was something wrong about you."

Without a pause in his movement, Aaron pulled a knife he always carried, severing the man's throat in one go. Looking around he caught Hermione's frantic eyes. "Go with Granger." Shoving her towards the trio, he grabbed his wand assassinating another death eater.

"I am not leaving you!" Athena shoved him from the incoming spell. "We leave together."

"If any of them leave here, they will inform Voldemort." Aaron cried out. "They cannot see you. Leave. Now!"

Unable to say anything she was abruptly grabbed by two pairs of hands and snatched away. "Aaron!" In a blink of an eye, she was no longer in the tent at the wedding. They now stood in the streets of London. "Take me back!"

Hermione shook her head. "We can't. It's too dangerous."

"Aaron needs my help!"

"The man's a death eater, he'll get what they all deserve." Ron spat.

Athena snarled, clutching him and shoving him against the wall. "That man has been by my side since I was forced into this. Saved my life countless times. Just now risking his life for me. Speak Ill of him again and I will rip your tongue out."

"Athena, we can't go back right now." Hermione placed a hand on her shoulder, trying to calm her down. "First we need to find a safe place, then we can let him know where we are."

Clenching her jaw a few times, she released the Weasley boy. "Lead the way."

At the party:

Sirius stood up from where he had plummeted, helping Remus up as well. Looking towards the dance floor, his eyes widen. Aaron stood in the middle of the dance floor, panting through heavy breaths. Scattered around him were the bodies of death eaters. Many had been killed by spells, but some were bloody by what looked like knife wounds. Aaron himself was untouched, but his hands and cuffs were stained with the blood of those he once considered brothers.

"He's one of them." A wizard shouted from the back.

Aaron's dark eyes landed on him with a look of pure death. Sirius quickly stopped anyone from stepping close to him. "Stop, he's not what it seems." Looking to Remus, he pleaded for some help. "Where is Athena?"

"I sent her with Granger." Aaron snatched his knife, cleaning it off his black shirt. "Any idea where they would be heading?"

Sirius nodded. "My place. It's the only safe house right now."

"I suggest you get everyone out of here." Aaron directed himself to Remus. "They will wonder why none of them have been back. They will come looking." He eyes the Weasley family. "Have them leave as well."

Sirius nodded. "Wait here."

Glancing down at bodies at his feet. It's been ages since he's had so much blood on his hands. Walking out to the lake he kneeled to wash himself off. Even in the darkness, he could make out the blood washing away. It pained him, of course, it did. Many of them had been his friends. People he fought alongside for years. But he wasn't about to endanger his or Athena's lives.
