(Y/n) was worried.
Lately, her boyfriend kept texting her lesser and lesser.
Sometimes he did not reply them at all and left her message as 'seen.'
Since they've been together for nearly 1 year and 5 months, she knew the pattern of his texts very well. She wouldn't mind if he replied late or simply sent an emoji. They both have learned from their past experiences.
This thing however, scared her. She knew this feeling very well. Both of them have their own share of times where they did this to each other. However, she tried her best to avoid this as much as she could (she always failed).
Silent treatment.
The most dreadful experience she never wish for in a relationship, even if it will eventually happen at some point.
Not only that this was tough to deal with, but being in a long term relationship (for her), it was simply a recipe for disaster. When one of them behaved this way and the other did not bother to reach out, it's a red flag. Her current situation was also not helpful since they're in a long distance relationship.
(Y/n) tried to stay positive. She shook her head.
Maybe he's still busy with studies.
This always happened when he was too stressed out. He needed some time alone to focus on his studies. However, a part of her questioned the time of his schedule. He always said that he had ''exam weeks.'' By now, his exams stretched out for rather too long if she was being honest.
''Stop overthinking.''
(Y/n) now eyed the wall calendar in her room. She crossed the days. It's already in the middle of the month. Thinking about it, honestly, she would never expect to stay here this long. It's nearly two months, she counted, yet she I still managed to survive here.
The awaited day will soon happened in a week, yet, her boyfriend was being this way. She did not want to blame him or anything, but sometimes it couldn't be help. It's natural to feel this way.
Carrying her dirty laundry in a basket, she went downstairs and noticed Moominmamma was in the living room folding some clothes. It's unusual to see her at this time of the day. Maybe she has no work today?, she thought.
''Good morning (Y/n).''
''Morning, Moominmamma.''
''You're not working today?''
She shook her head.
''Taking some rest. Moominpappa took care of it today.''
''Oh, that's nice. Glad he didn't mind.''
''Yes, I am truly grateful.''
(Y/n) did her laundry after a while. She kept thinking about (bf/n). Maybe (Y/n) did something that she did not realized that had offended him. But maybe she was also just overthinking and (bf/n) was only busy. Either way, she needed to fix this before she return back in a week. She didn't want things to get so tense and awkward between them.

''Huh?''
''Do you two ever had a bad argument?''
Moomin blinked. (Y/n) just randomly asked him again. Both of them were enjoying some fresh watermelon after work. She shifted her legs again, feeling nervous as she asked him. The wooden bench slightly moved beneath her.
