Episode 6

“So what have you decided?” Haoxiang asked Yaxuan as he sat down on his bed in Yaxaun’s room.

“About Chengxin? I’ll try to forget about it. It won’t be easy but I’ll try.” Yaxuan answered and looked up at the ceiling. He was lying on his bed full of thought.

“You won’t try to get him back?” Haoxiang wondered.

“Of course not. If someone doesn’t love you, it’s best to leave them alone.”

“Best to leave them alone huh?” Haoxiang asked himself. He thought of applying it to himself. It seemed like Yaowen didn’t love him, was it best to leave him alone like Yaxuan had done to Chengxin?

“Don’t you think so?”

“You’re right.” Haoxiang got up from the bed he was sitting on. “I gotta go, I’ll be right back.”

So Haoxiang left Yaxuan’s room and went to his room which he shared with Yaowen, but he wasn’t in there. He sighed. “Where the hell could he be?” he asked himself, then went to the bathrooms.

Just as he had thought, Yaowen was in the bathroom washing his face in the mirror.
He walked in slowly and stood by the door. “Excuse me?”

“Oh,” Yaowen turned away from the mirror and turned to him. “I knew it was you, I can recognize that voice from anywhere.”

“Yaowen we need to talk,” Haoxiang said quickly. “Uh…yeah…let’s be friends, real friends, I don’t think…you actually like me…and that’s okay.”

“Oh, just when I was about to send you a message that we could be something more,” he put his hands in his pocket and shrugged. “Cool.”

Haoxiang didn’t know what to do about that. Did Yaowen actually suddenly start to like him back? He didn’t want to make a silly decision and end up being used just like Yaxuan.

“Thanks for understanding…and now you have room for Junlin right?” he forced a smile. “Let’s still be friends like we’ve always been though.”

“Hey this is the bathroom, not a therapist office.” Ziyi commented as he walked into the bathrooms.

Yaowen shook his head. “What the hell do you want Ziyi?”

“I want to pee, duh.” Ziyi walked to one of the stalls.

Yaowen ignored him and looked at Ziyi. “You were not acting like my friend recently so let’s not pretend we’re friends. You sort of just broke up with me right now and that’s it. You’re as good as a stranger."

Haoxiang looked at him painfully. “I didn’t mean it like that….don’t like it was ever a real relationship anyway, you just messed up.” he angrily walked out and slammed the door.

Yaowen sighed as Ziyi came out of one of the stalls.

“Trouble in paradise?” He asked him.

“Yep.”
