Note: there is a bit where Frisk mentions temperature. I am speaking in celsius. I am also speaking as a Canadian who I may have made this story take place in Canada because I don't really get temperature anywhere else. Thanks for understanding and not making jokes about it actually being cold lol

Frisk glanced towards the door before immediately trying to get up. That was rude! Sans put a hand in front of her chest to block her.

"hey. undyne is still out there. plus, flowey will be fine, he does stuff like this all the time," Sans shrugged. Frisk felt sick. She knew he was joking. Chara wouldn't ever do anything like that and mean it! He wouldn't. He's never... Did he?

Truthfully, Frisk did a lot of the insulting too, but she didn't like thinking about it. Her entire brain was rebelling against the thought. She sighed and tried to think about anything else. Like, how Chara was going to freeze to death. If she couldn't find him, she was going to LOAD, and no one in the underground could stop her. But she shouldn't LOAD haphazardly... Maybe he'll be fine? If he was lucky, of course. If only she didn't force him into this situation in the first place! She just had to wait it out. Right. Chara wouldn't like it if she made enemies... Maybe. Probably. Most people didn't want to be friends with someone with a ton of enemies. She wouldn't like Lora if she was a big meanie.

Okay. So she needed to wait just long enough that it was declared Undyne-Free. But not long enough that Chara and Flowey get worried. Easy!

"Okay. Any other stories?" She asked. Working on her special attack with Papyrus lost its charm without Chara to helpfully poke fun at it.

"HMM... WOULDN'T IT BE YOUR TURN AGAIN?" Papyrus asked. Right! She only really told stories at the beginning! She didn't have much interesting to talk about.

"Well... Hmm... One time my sister and I were biking around the town. I wasn't that good at biking, I had to use training wheels, but it was still nice. I think I was around six or seven? I can't remember... But I do remember how the ice cream truck was coming by, and I didn't have any money on me," Frisk started. She started to feel the tears in her eyes. She really missed her...

"WHAT'S AN ICE CREAM TRUCK?" Papyrus asked.

"Oh! It's like a moving vehicle that sells ice cream! It's kinda like nice cream. It goes around and steals money from hot kids who just want to cool down, but I didn't really know that then," Frisk said sheepishly. "So I was begging her for some money because I thought she was so big and cool. She actually had a few dollars, human currency, in her pocket but she could only buy one thing. So she bought me a popsicle, even though it was like thirty out or something and both of us were REALLY hot! I dunno, it felt like thirty."

"SHE SOUNDS NICE!" Papyrus said sweetly.

"Yeah. She was," Frisk said wistfully.

"was?" Sans asked. Of course, that was what he focused on. Though Frisk would be lying if she said she didn't expect it.

"Yeah... She ran away a few years ago, I actually think she might have fallen down here... I guess there really is no hope she's alive then, 'every human who falls here died' and whatnot," Frisk sighed.

"what's her name?"

"What?"

"i got some of the records of the humans. what's her name?" Sans stood up.

"Her name? Oh! It's Ashley, but everyone called her Ash," Frisk said.

"ash..." Sans disappeared and reappeared again moments later with some papers in his hands. They all looked really official and were written in a really official-looking font. He sat back down and started flipping through them.
