14 months later

Six months since Ezra joined the Empire and he was assigned to many missions that involved the Rebellion. Vader made him change out of his rebel uniform into a all black sith outfit and gave him a red lightsaber. He didn't give Ezra a mask. Vader wanted the rebels to know that Ezra was with him.

At a rebel space outpost, two star destroyers was firing at the outpost trying to destroy it while rebels inside were evacuating. In the Hanger, Kanan and Zeb were currently fighting Ezra. Ezra used the force to push Zeb on the ground in front Hera who watched in fear. Kanan and Ezra clashed their lightsabers together. Kanan had a angry expression on his face while Ezra had an emotionless look on his face. "I'm sorry I failed you Ezra. I prayed everyday that I didn't see you get on the wrong side of the force and be forced to fight. But I promise I will end this." Kanan said as he broke the flash and tried slash Ezra but Ezra dodged his attack and kicked him in the head making Kanan fall back.

As Ezra walked towards him he was stopped when Hera stepped in front of him with her arms outstretched to her sides. She looked up at Ezra with tears in her eyes going down her face. "Stop. You've done enough damage already." She said voice cracking. Ezra had a sad look on his face as he put his lightsaber on his belt and walked away. "Ezra! What happened to Sabine?!" Hera asked making Ezra stop. "Even though you don't want to tell us why you turned you still owe us an explanation on Sabine! Is she still alive!?" Hera shouted. All Ezra did was clench his fist and grit his teeth while he walked away with a teary eyed Hera.

"EZRA!!!"

Later on Vader's star destroyer

Ezra stood on the bridge of Vader's personal star destroyer as he gave his report about the destruction of the rebel space outpost. "Excellent work my apprentice. You've proven your loyalty to me well." Vader said and Ezra just nodded. Before Ezra left he wanted a request from Vader. "Can I see her today?" He asked. "You know the rules boy." Vader said. Ezra was only allowed to see Sabine once every month and it pained him that he couldn't see her whenever he can. Vader wanted Ezra to remain loyal to him and didn't want him spending too much time with Sabine. It was then that Ezra got down on one knee and bowed his head. "Please, Lord Vader. Let me see her today." Ezra said trying not to let the disgust in his voice come out when he said 'Lord Vader'. It was then that Vader turned to him and looked down. "Very well. You did complete your mission perfectly today. I will let you see her. But too long so make it quick." Vader said and Ezra nodding thanking him before leaving.

Ezra stood in front of a metal door in the detention area that was guarded by three stormtroopers. Ezra opened the door and saw her. Sabine was stripped from her armor and was wearing prisoner jumpsuit. Her hair got a little longer but lost most of it's color. She was currently asleep on the cold metal bench until she heard the door and opened and looked up. "Ezra." Sabine said Ezra ran over to her and hugged her tight.

"How are you able to see me now?" She asked. "Vader let me see you today after a mission." Ezra said as they kissed. "I'm so happy to see you again." Sabine said softly. Then her stomach growled making her clutch her stomach. "They didn't feed you today?" Ezra asked and Sabine shook her head no. "They didn't give me anything yesterday either." She added. Ezra sighed and reached behind his back and pulled out a container of water and food. "But Ezra these are your rations of food." Sabine said. "Take it. You need it more." Ezra said. Sabine slowly took his food and started to eat it. As she ate, Ezra just looked at her feeling bad about how they were treating her.

When Sabine saw Ezra staring at her she frowned while looking down. "I look ugly don't I." She said shocking Ezra. "What? What gave you that idea?" Ezra asked. "I'm in a jumpsuit, my eyes are baggy from getting barely any sleep,  My skin looks pale, not to mention my hair's lost it's color." Sabine said only for Ezra to stop her. He placed hand on her cheek and rubbed his thumb on her cheek. "Stop that. No matter what you'll still be that beautiful girl I fell in love with. I can't help but stare at the thing of beauty I'm looking at." Ezra said and kissed Sabine on the forehead.

It was then that Sabine broke down. Tears flooding her eyes going down her cheeks and she buried her head into Ezra's chest. "I'm sorry. I don't deserve you. You're too nice to me." Sabine cried as Ezra hugged her tight. "It's okay. Let it out. I'm here." Ezra said. "I-I miss the others. *sniffs* I wanna go home." Sabine said with her face still in Ezra's chest. "I know. I want to go home too. I made you promise that I will find a way for us to go home didn't I. And that's what I'm gonna do." Ezra said and kissed the top of her head. "Okay." Sabine mutter into his chest.

Then the door opened behind them and Ezra turned to see Vader. "You're time is up. Time to leave." Vader said. Ezra felt Sabine grip him harder when Vader said that. "Please. Please don't go." She muttered with a whimper. "Can I just have a few more moments with her?" Ezra asked.

Then he felt a metal arm hit him on his head from behind making him fall back. "Know your place boy." Vader said as he turned to Sabine and raised his hand about to hit her.

Then his hand stopped inches away from Sabine as it was stopped by an invisible force. Vader turned to Ezra to see him with his hand up and an angry look. "We agreed that as long as I stay loyal to you, you would not hurt her." He said. "Your loyalty better stay with me. Or else she will experience pain like no other." Vader said as he stood up straight. "Say your goodbyes and be quickly about it." Vader said and left.

"Ezra. Please don't go." Sabine pleaded with him. "I'm sorry Sabine but I have to." Ezra said. Sabine looked like she was going to cry again but Ezra kneeled down to her patting her head. "Don't worry. I'll make sure I see you again." Ezra said. "Promise?" Sabine asked. Ezra cupped both her cheeks with his hands. "Promise." He said as he softly kissed Sabine on the lips. They parted and Ezra stood up caressing Sabine's hand. "I love you." He said. "I love you too." Sabine said back. Ezra slowly let go of her hand and walked out of the room leaving Sabine to curl up in a ball against the wall and silently cry to herself.
