November 24, is when I decide to try going to the Philippines, but only for a short trip/tryout. It seems that Philippines don't require visas for a short trip rather. Which is a good thing. But my passport is about to expire in just a few weeks. So I also need to have that renewed just in case. So that's why I was going out of my apartment everyday early in the morning from 24 to 27. And for a flight to book, I booked it online looking for a flight to the Philippines.

I just wanted to try out visiting there for a week maybe. I want to see what it has there to offer, as well as try visiting Emma there. But the only information I have is her home in... Makati, and apartment in San Isidro. So I tried my best in familiarizing different places in Manila. Or no... National Capital Region rather. That's where everything is in. Especially Manila. I guess Makati is one of them. It's not easy really, but I think it was easier than familiarizing places inside Tokyo.

I tell everyone of my friends Emma has met. That in December, I will fly myself to the Philippines. My friends in Ebisu wouldn't believe so, but they wish me luck after. So were mines in Sumida. Tsuneo, Hibiki, and Hiromi. They were confused why at first. But they did wish me safety, and checking on Emma. As well for Tae and Saeki, they tell me to say hi to Emma if I can. I take a ride to Narita Airport in Chiba instead of Haneda Airport. That's where I booked my flight. And for sure the feeling of going to the Philippines will be strange somewhat. As it's my first time ever. But I would like to try out.

You know the weird thing? Because my friends were impressed of my English, they would think I would work at an airport like Haneda. I would, but I choose not to. I'd rather be a tour guide/private tutor for migrants instead.

I arrived here in the 13th of December evening in Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Like everyone going here possibly. I somewhat have the chance to see more Filipinos here around. And I was alone here, not knowing what to do. The feeling is really strange, and quite scary. I would think they'd get stranged out seeing a Japanese here.

Those thought still occur, even when I have traveled to many countries before. And despite my hobby of touring. Many of the girls here, I found them pretty rather. Like they are not afraid to express themselves. As well at their own creativity. And some guys here actually look tall and charming. And cute like how you'd hear it. It was chilly in Japan, but I was recommended not to wear warm clothes in the Philippines. As the pearl orient of the seas a hot country in the middle of the east. But not Middle East.

I pick up a taxi that is well air conditioned. And for the hotel, I'd rather go for a cheap one, instead of hotels such as the famous Okada Manila.

I haven't had dinner. So good timing, as for the first time I would love to try Jollibee. And I love the food there so much. The Chicken-joy taste superior to other fried chicken I had. As well I love the Jolly Spaghetti, and the Yum-Burger. I could think their menu is very go-to and innovative for fast food. As well as it taste very special I feel. I like the Jollibee mascot very much. Cutest fast food mascot, I took a picture with it.

But it was actually difficult for me to find a good looking hotel to stay in. As well as not draining my wallet. It's either I would live in Pasay, Makati, or Manila Bay. I know I had to go for one, but I went to many stops from different taxis along the way. As I thought it's cheaper.

And as I finally picked one, which is Victoria Court Cuneta in Pasay. Saying it, I must've butchered the way I pronounced them. It was definitely not easy looking back. But I think I can go with this. I mean, it looks like a really nice hotel.

I could see that it's a love hotel rather. But I think I'll be fine. I can scare off any guy who could be after me. Which is why I'm living single as of now. Maybe for just one night I'll stay here and check out tomorrow. I mean, I don't think it'll all be that bad. I love the interior of the rooms. Despite it, it's still a nice looking hotel where it's not so necessary to make the main use out of it.
