I swung open the barn door and put my bag next to my sleeping box and turned around I didnt see Lazuli anywhere so I walked up the stairs and found her on the couch watching camp pining hearts S7 Episode 19 I walked behind the couch and got on through the back as to not block her view of the tv Peridot : Hey Lapis Lapis: Hey peri-WHhhhhat happened to your hair Peridot : I got it done at the salon it was getting a little annoying Lapis : you look good like that! Peridot thanks! Lapis scootched closer to me and allowed me to sit on my favorite spot her lap ! I crawled into her lapband sat down she crossed her arms and held me and rested her chin on my head the episode soon ended after 5 minutes lapis got up and turned off the tv she turned back to me Lapis :so what do you wanna do today Peridot : OOH!OOH theres gonna be an baking competition I've been practicing recently so I wanna enter ! Lapis: sounds fun let's do it! We walked into my mini kitchen Lapis:What should we make? I grabbed my baking book and flipped through it as lapis bent down to look over my shoulder I stopped at an certain page I looked at lapis to see if she agreed with me she had an bright smile and an nod so its decided Were making Pudding cake! Its similar to an ice cream cake but instead of ice cream its pudding Lapis :Chocolate or Vanilla? Peridot:Hmmm... How about the cake part is Chocolate and the pudding part is vanilla! Lapis: Sounds Good! We got baking I used my metal powers to turn everything on and to open everything I grabbed the eggs and milk and put it in the whisk I got some whip cream to get extra flavor in the dough and added vanilla I put it in a mold and in the oven lapis made the other one I got the chocolate milk etc out and me and lapis started mixing and I stopped and took the cake out the oven we loaded the pudding into the cake and fixed the cake up I grabbed the Creams were making it white with Turqouise's gem as the design so around the cake and roses leading all the way to the top we dipped the sweat,Chocolate,And any other sweet treat off our faces and looked at our masterpiece

I smiled happy with the way it turned out Peridot : lets go to the board walk and set up our stand its Gonna take place tomorrow so lets put this in the fridge ! Lapis : sound great ! We out it in fridge and spent 3 minutes cleaning up the kitchen and utensils and by cleaning utensils I mean licking the sugar off of everything ...me and lapis walks who the board walk we were met by mayor Dewey he said we have to put our name son this sheet of paper to compete I grabbed the Pen and wrote Peridot then let lapis grab it and next to my name she wrote + Lapis Lazuli we picked the booth at the end and started setting up we painted A banner it had both of our gems on it since we couldn't fit both of our names on the banner lapis flew up and put it in the area where you can pin it and I hammered it in with nails with my metal powers we got an table cloth that was white with cyan stripes we smiled at each other happy to be working together While decorating I saw an familiar face Peridot : HEY STEVEN OVER HERE! Lapis lifted her head from under the booth she and to put a stepping Stool there for me Lapis : Hey steven Steven:Hey peridot, Lapis!me and the crystal gems are looking at the booths were gonna be watching the contest tomorrow Lapis:Were gonna be entering the contest ! Steven :That's so cool! Amethyst: OoOOH Did I hear entering the food contest Im gonna be a judge yknkw Peridot: Really?you didn't strike me as the judging type?more of a thing pearl would do Amethsyt:im in it for the food Peridot and lapis : That makes more since Steven:How did you guys say that so on sync ?
