AN: Literally my favorite song rn and one of my favorite artists <3

The Sanctum was peaceful. The library had so many bigs, it was impossible to choose. To think of how many spells you could learn excited you, up until now your magic had just been for harm, now you had the chance to learn and use it properly.

Stephen walked around as you gazed at the shelves, your eyes full of amazement, he gathered books that would be useful for you, hoping that Wong would not walk in and yell at him for taking them.  He looked over to you and smiled at the sight of you so dumbstruck by a bunch of books, who would have known that the crazy seeming person he met yesterday would be so tamed by pieces of paper and words.

"Do you want to stay here to read these or would you like to bring them back to the compound?" Stephen asked.

"Can we stay here? But maybe look around, I've never been in a sanctum before."

"Sure."

"Stephen, you know that if you ever need to talk about what happened, I'm here. I'm probably the only one that can ever understand."

"I know. Thanks."

"Not a problem. Everyone should have someone to talk to, believe me, I've learned that." Y/N chuckled. "Now what do you say we go look around and you can give me the grand tour so I can possibly get my own cloak."

With that you two set off and towards the long halls of the sanctum, to see the wonders it held.

"How is this place so huge?"  Y/N asked.

"Did you forget my job title?" Stephen asked jokingly.

You two soon stumbled into a hall full of relics. You were amazed, there were so many weapons and other gadgets and gizmos.

"This is amazing Stephen."

"Come over here. Thought you might find this more interesting than the Bells of Agony."

"What is it?" You asked stepping in front of a glass case.

"The Cloak of Christendom, it grants speed and protection to whoever it chooses to be worthy of wearing it. Unfortunately, the thing hasn't moved since its master died and won't again until it finds a new one."

"Poor cloak," you say, tapping on the glass.

Then suddenly the cloak was against the glass. Seeming to look at you with its hood tilted to the side.

"Did it just... choose me?" You look over to Stephen who also had shock written all over his face.

"It appears it did." A man said from the stairs behind you.

"Wong," Stephen replied.

"Strange." the man named Wong said back. "Who is this?"

"Y/N," you replied not wanting Strange to get in trouble. "He agreed to watch and train me for the Avengers."

"Ah, you're that annoying girl, I assume? Although it looks like you two are friends now?"

"Yes."

"Have fun with the cloak."

"It's mine?"

"It chose you."

"Go on Y/N," Stephen interjected.

With that, you pushed open the glass door to the case and picked up the cloak carefully setting it on your shoulders. It was beautiful. It looked to be made of silk and the material felt so light it almost felt like nothing. The black color showed up beautifully against your skin. You looked like a different person with it on, someone powerful and not some scared girl from Hydra who had little control over herself. You never wanted to take it off. The cloak didn't seem to want to come off either and hugged you ferociously.

"I think you and I are gonna be good buddies cloak." you laughed. "Can you do anything?"

The cloak somehow nodded, you weren't going to question it, after all, you were a magic-user living with the Avengers and training and friends with a Master of the Mystic Arts.

The cloak took off, to say you were shocked was an understatement. Sure, you've flown before but not like this. The cloak zoomed through the hallways, taking you with it. You passed door after door, relic after relic, room after room, the sanctum was apparently endless.

Soon you were back to where you were before with Stephen and Wong standing and smiling.

"I'm glad you enjoy the relic Y/N," Wong said, "feel free to visit the sanctum more often once you're allowed to."

"She's not a threat from what I can see, but we should probably wait another week or so just to convince Fury and Rogers," Strange said.

"Are you two going back to the tower now?"

"Would you like to Y/N?"

"Yes. I'm assuming training at the same time tomorrow?" You asked Strange.

"Yes. Same place as well, soon we can start using this sanctum but let's wait till you're more stable."

With that, he created a portal that lead to your bedroom in the tower and you stepped through waving to Wong and the doctor.

3rd person POV:

"She seems nice," Wong said to Strange.

"She is." Strange replied.

"You two became friends awfully fast."

"She saw some things, she's not exactly crazy either, just a little messed up, but she did come out of Hydra. She's powerful as well, I don't think she realizes just how much she is, she could defeat you or me in minutes if it came to it."

"Well invite her over more often, she's much less of an arse than you."

"Thanks, Wong."
