"That's a wrap!" Tony cheered as the team went off stage.

Congratulations were said, many pats on the back, and kind words about how you were officially on the team in the public eye, however, the thought of the woman plagued your mind.

She was too familiar, but it couldn't be her.

Who is it?

No one, Stephen. Just someone that reminded me of my past.

Are you sure?

I'm sure.

Stephen sent you a worried glance but you merely shook your head, not wanting to worry anyone of the others for something that was possibly a hapless sighting, triggered by bad memories and something as common as a hair color.

"You did a great job, hotshot," Tony surprised you by patting you on the back, rather hard, making you flinch.

An obvious lie, because Tony and Steve seemed to answer most of the questions, that seemed to just be about the Avenger's recent missions and how on earth you would fit into the team, "Like you didn't do all the talking."

"Hey reporters can be a lot of stress for newbies," Tony shrugged, messing with his tie and struggling to get it loosened, "Even Steve freezes up sometimes."

"Steve? The veteran and America's Golden Boy? I'll believe it when I see it," you scoffed trying to imagine the captain messing up in front of the people that were head over heels for him because honestly, the entire country was.

"Tony, I'm going to go check on something, I'll be back in five, okay? And please get Pepper to help with your tie, it's horrible to see you struggle so much,"Punching the billionaire on the shoulder, you walked over to Stephen, who had been busy talking with Bruce about some new medical discovery, based on the few big-letter terms you had overheard.

"Stephen," getting the sorcerer's attention you pointed to the door that lead to the main hall, where most of the reporters would still be since it had only been a couple of minutes since the press conference, "I want to check out what I saw."

"Was it someone from Hydra?" Stephen asked once you were away from the rest of the group, out of hearing range for most, but you knew the enhanced, like Steve,  wouldn't snoop on a conversation they weren't in.

Sending a look that seemed to answer his question, he held open the door for you, leading to a pool of reporters, "Is there a spell you could use to change our appearances?"

An orange light passed over you, trusting Stephen enough, you didn't bother to check before beginning to push through the crowd, eyes scanning for the silver-haired woman.

"I see her," you told him as a scarlet trench coat caught your attention, different than what the other reporters wore. "I'll explain who she is, once we get to her."

"Should we portal her to somewhere, to talk to her?"

"No, Hydra could be watching with others in the room, it's better to talk in a corner or somewhere, make it seem like we're other press members or know her for another reason," walking over you stopped in front of the woman, who was busy typing into her phone, black acrylics, tapping loudly against the screen. "Excuse me, ma'am, can you point us to the bathroom," Putting on a fake smile, wider than normal.

"Follow me," she told you without looking up from her phone, beginning down the hallway, "The key is right here, go down the hall, it's the very last door."

Now?

Yes, Stephen, now.

Stephen opened a portal, revealing both of your true figures, as you clasped the woman's hands together, a vine growing from your fingers that you tied around her wrists before clamping your hand over her mouth to silence the small screams she made.

In a matter of seconds, it was over, pushing her through the portal you were in a dark storage closet, Stephen shutting the portal behind you.

"Hello, Corvina," frowning as you removed your hand from her mouth,  eyes narrowing at the woman that stood before you, her silver hair making her look almost robotic, dark-tanned skin the perfect contrast to her milky brown eyes.

Clothed in her typical crimson trench coat, the scar over her left eyebrow was barely visible with cosmetics almost perfectly covering it, unnoticeable to the untrained eye, but you knew her almost better than anyone, "So great to see you again, is Hydra still as vile as ever?"

She smiled at you, her work not affecting her in the least bit, "If you know anything, you would know they don't send me out on missions."

Stephen looked confused, not knowing too much about your past or the people that worked at Hydra, "What does that mean?"

"A warning," she told you ignoring Stephen as she stared you in the eyes, her demeanor revealing nothing about her intentions or state of mind. "AIM is coming."

"Are you a double agent?" Confused as to why she would risk her life giving you this valuable information. "Did Fury pay you for information?"

"Oh heavens no, they have every piece of technology I could dream of," she let out a light laugh, "But you were my favorite soldier, seeing you escape brought me some joy. You didn't deserve to be locked in there, darling."

Stephen scowled, before placing a hand on your shoulder, bringing you closer to him, "I'm sorry, are you flirting with her?"

Corvina didn't bother answering, only shooting a flashy smile at Stephen, batting her eyelashes.

"Ignore her, she does that a lot," Stephen sent you a questioning look, before casting an incantation. You didn't bother questioning it, knowing that he could only be doing it to help, moving your grasp to the vines that held her hands as you felt her struggle slightly. "When is AIM coming?"

She sighed before stopping her struggle, blowing a strand of hair out of her face, "Sometime within the next month, I'm not on the project so I don't know the exact date, but one of your missions will be a trap, magic enforced."

"She's telling the truth," Stephen muttered, opening a portal back up the hallway, "She won't say anything about this meeting, I've made sure of it."

"That's cute darling," Corvina flirted, her arms going up in a fruitless attempt to place them on Stephen's chest, "Mr. Strange you should threaten people more often."

Stephen rolled his eyes, possibly for the hundredth time that day, "I think I won't."

"Thank you for the information, you really should quit before you rot in jail for the rest of your life," you blew her a kiss as you shoved her out of your grasp, her restraints falling off with a wave of your hand, the portal closing as she met your eyes.

"Well," you clasped your hands together, trying to be cheery as your heels clicked against the floor, "Looks like we have guests we need to prepare for."
