The sanctum was dark and quiet, luckily Stephen informed you that Wong was out for the evening doing a check on the Hong Kong sanctum, so you had the place to yourselves.
You quite liked 177a Bleecker Street, the relics, library, and other amenities made for an interesting place to visit. The people especially made it worth it. Wong and Stephen both being great and wonderful to visit and talk with, if the ladder wasn't then your relationship would be quite awkward.
Stephen took your hand in his, both your cloaks flying off to do lord knows what and led you to his room in the sanctum. You noticed this time around that he had a tv and pillows thrown to the side, he must not use them all when he's sleeping, which will make for quite the relaxing night.
"Shower?" Stephen asked while finding a pair of clothes to wear and handing you an oversized shirt of his and forming a portal to get some of your shorts and undergarments for you.
"You do realize that I can just make those appear? I have an interdimensional pocket, picked it up from a senator on Vanaheim that stumbled upon our Hydra base. I just have clothes in there I can sleep in."
"But I like doing things for you," Stephen frowned at the fact that you would do something without his help.
"I know you do but I can still do some things for myself. Oh, and by the way yes to that shower, but no funny business, I'm tired."
"Whatever you want my queen," he mumbled as he swooped you into his arms and carried you to the bathroom.
Adjusting the water to the perfect temperature he helped you to undress before doing so himself and pulling you into the shower with him. You could care less about the state of your body, all you wanted at the moment was to get clean, head to bed, and rest with the person you cared the most about. Turning you around he began to kiss you before starting to gently massage and wash your hair, being careful to not overstep your boundaries and trying to relax you.
"If you feel uncomfortable just tell me," scooping up soap to rub and massage your body with it, soothing your tense muscles from missions and events that had happened during your life. All while he seemed careful to not do anything, in fear of you reacting badly.
"Stephen I grew up in Hydra, I was raised to not be ashamed of anything. Plus, I trust you, you're my partner," turning around to gaze into his eyes and smile at him. Leaning into his toned chest you let go and just listened to the sound of the water and focused on his touch. Together the two of you just leaned into each other, enjoying the relaxing water and presence of the peaceful moment, that helped to deepen your relationship even more.
"Are you ready to get out now?" Stephen asked after a few minutes of the peace.
"Sure. Cuddles and movies?" Reaching around him to turn off the stream of water, that had now turned cold.
"That sounds amazing, but it's whatever you want birthday girl." Helping you out of the shower he wrapped you in a warm fluffy towel, and wrapped himself in one as well, before leading you into his bedroom. Throwing a long shirt on the bed along with another for himself to change into.
Reaching for the first shirt you bumped into his toweled body. He shot a disapproving look at your face before pushing back your arm, "I'm supposed to spoil you, princess. Let me treat you like proper royalty." Pulling you close once again he slipped his shirt, that smelled just like him, over your form before dressing himself.
Despite how comfortable you felt after only being with him for one day you still felt concerned over your relationship with the sorcerer. "Are we going too fast?"
"What do you mean?" Stephen's blue eyes instantly reflecting worry.
"I just haven't done this before. We've only been together for a day and showered together and are sharing a bed. It was always frowned upon when I was a kid."
"Are you comfortable? We can go slower, but we were almost in a relationship a few weeks before, we hung out all the time, practically went on dates."
"I'm comfortable, just worried."
Relief filled Stephen's eyes as he pulled you into the bed with him and cuddled you closer to him. "Don't worry," he whispered before nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck.
I'm really falling for this man.

"Stop," you giggled playfully pushing him away, "stupid nickname."
"You can give me one. Most couples do that."
Pondering you thought of what you could call your partner. Sorcerer? Sounds like something he may like, but not creative. Magician? Stark would definitely call him that. His middle name? You had no clue what that would be. You'd just settle with Stephen for the moment.
"That's sweet, I'll think of one eventually. Should we watch a movie?"
"Which one?"
"Whatever you wish."

"What's that?" You questioned as he moved to retrieve the TV remote to turn on the device and flick through the multiple streaming services.
"A movie about her princess and lover. It's a love story? I guess comedy as well."
"Sounds nice," you pulled the covers over the two of you, finding comfort in the scent of the pillows, that smelled exactly like the cologne Stephen wears.
The movie started to play and you were thoroughly enjoying it, despite Peter's teachings about pop culture you still were nowhere near the number of movies a normal person would watch, but this one might just be one of your favorites.
"I like that," you told Stephen at the beginning of the film.
"What?"
"How he says 'As you wish' to her."
Smiling at you, you once again were trapped in his dazzling blue eyes.
"Wanna cuddle?" Moving closer to him and leaning into him.
"As you wish."
