No One POV:
Jane and her brother Alec run through the woods in Forks, Washington. A few days ago a nomad red head came to the Volturi claiming that the Cullens broke the law.
Immediately Aro grabbed ahold of her hand seeing every memory she has. And what he saw, ignited a deep anger in him. How could his old friend break one of the most important laws?
The nomad 'Victoria' wanted to come with so she can finally have her revenge. A mate for a mate. Reluctantly Jane and Alec had to take her with them to fetch the human and the Cullens.
They quickly show up to the Cullens house only to find it vacant. Their scents are very faded which means they haven't been here in a while.
"We must inform the Kings," Alec announced and pulls out his phone. Jane growls in annoyance all she wants is to bring someone pain and the Cullens aren't here to give her that satisfaction.
"Forget the pesky Cullens, I want the human girl and I'll be damned if I have to wait any longer," Victoria growls out turning to run towards the human's house only to get stopped.
Her face contorts in pain as she arches her back. Jane smirks, at least she can bring someone pain. "We have rules that we must follow, Victoria. Even if you aren't part of the Volturi, you will abide by them," Alec sternly tells her as she groans in pain.
Jane keeps it going for a few more minutes before easing up. Victoria falls to the ground panting unnecessary. Jane smirks sinister as Victoria looks at her in fear.
"Now King Aro wants us to see if the human knows where the Cullens went or if she went with them," Alec informs them and Jane nods putting up her cloak to cover her head.
"You know this human more than us. So take us to her," Jane orders and Victoria glares at her before flinching as Jane gives her a sinister glare daring her to continue.
Victoria scoffs lightly and sped off with the siblings following closely. She leads them deeper in the woods where the most intoxicating smell invades the twins nose.
They inhale deeply with their eyes closing before opening them and seeing a young brunette girl crying into her arms.
"Well, well, well. Looks who's all alone. Where's the Cullens, pet," Victoria sneers speeding in front of the girl.
The twins sit back and observe the situation. The girl snaps her head up, her eyes widening in fear upon seeing Victoria.
"V-Victoria?" The girl stutters out in terror and she scrambles to her feet, facing the vampire. Said vampire give her a sadistic grin.
"You never answered my question, pet," Victoria moves closer to the human who quickly backs away only to trip.
"T-they're out hunting. T-they'll b-be back soon," Bella stutters out crawling backwards to get away from the dangerous vampire.
Victoria let's out a mocking laugh. "Oh pet, I know you're lying. You see my new friends and I just came from their house and it's vacant. Their scents have faded meaning that they haven't been there for a while," she tells her grinning showing her razor sharp teeth.
Bella looks behind Victoria seeing two people, a boy and a girl red eyed in black cloaks with a necklace with a V on the end.
Jane connects eyes with brown and everything seemed to have changed. The other half of her soul belongs to this human girl. This fragile and from the looks of it clumsy girl.
"Mate," she whisper quietly so only her brother hears her. Alec glances at her in shock. This complicates things now.
"You see the Cullens have broken the most important rule for Vampires. Letting a human know of our existence and left her behind without turning or killing her. Well I have the pleasure of killing you," Victoria tells her then growls speeding to Bella who screams out in horror.
Jane let's out a dangerous growl and intercepts Victoria, throwing her against a tree making it snap from the force. Jane crouches in front of a confused Bella, snarling in warning.
Victoria sped to her feet staring at Jane in shock before speeding away from the twins, thinking of a plan to get to the human girl for her revenge.
"Sister, she's gone," Alec speaks quickly where Bella can't hear and he set a calming hand on Jane's arm. The snarl loosens up in her chest before it disappears completely and she turns to Bella who's looking at them extremely confused.
"Oh shit," Jane curses, just her luck that her beautiful, gorgeous, and adorable looking mate is a human. One they have to take to see the kings for questioning. Oh shit is right.
