the mask I put on to help me get it

They weren’t enough.

The practices he did over the weekend weren’t enough.

Tooru woke up late this morning. Hence he didn’t have enough time to pack lunchboxes for the [Last Name] siblings. So, instead, he ordered sushi somewhere in the middle of his second class, in hopes that it’d come by the time the bell would ring. Thankfully, though, it did. But, fuck, did it also drain his bank account.

At lot seemed to have changed during lunch break today. There were no more porn stories or mobile games at the table. But the most notable change was the fact that Kyoutani was back and Tooru had to admit the guy had some gall coming back to [First Name] after ditching her the way he did last week. But not that Tooru minded. In fact, Tooru preferred him over Monoma.

“So, [First Name]. You punched someone.” Shouto stated as soon as he sat down next to Tooru. Having arrived later than usual, he had no other choice but to, especially with [First Name] being seated in-between Tooru and Kyoutani, it was expected that anyone would rather choose to take the seat next to Tooru’s if they wanted to sit closer to her.

“How did you even know?” She asked.

“What can I say? Word travels fast.” Shouto shrugged.

“I literally did it less than five minutes ago.” She said, eyes narrowed skeptically.

“Ugh, fine.” He groaned. “I overheard Jin’ya telling Junta about it, okay? Now, mind telling me what happened, ojou-chan?” He asked, crossing his arms under his chest.

She sighed. “Nothing much. I just punched the asshole who said Kyoutani-san wasn’t worth being my friend.” She said and, at her explanation, Shouto immediately laughed out loud.
