He looked beautiful and would look even more beautiful in tears.

It was just a normal Wednesday afternoon when the bell for lunch break finally rang and [First Name] was, as usual, instantly flooded with appeals from the students who wished to eat lunch with her. But she seemed to pay them no mind.
Ignoring the pleas, she simply turned towards her seat neighbor and was just about to ask him to eat lunch with her instead. However, she’d only opened her mouth and yet to let a word out of it when he suddenly said firmly,
“No.”
No?
She didn’t understand. She didn’t understand what that meant. What did he mean by that? What did he mean by “no”? Surely he wasn’t rejecting her. . . right?
“What you mean?” [First Name] asked.
“I’ll eat lunch by myself today.” Kyoutani answered.
“W-why?” She asked again, voice shaky.
“I was told I wasn’t worth hanging around with someone as great as you.” He murmured.
“So?” She raised an eyebrow, afraid she wasn’t following. He didn’t seem to care before. So why now? “Why not just punch them?”
“Because. . .” he sighed, looking away from her “because I agree with them.”
“With who?” She asked, voice raised and brows furrowed in anger. “Tell me who and I’ll punch them for you. Because I don’t. I don’t agree with them.”
“No.” Getting up from his seat, he was just about to walk out of the classroom when she quickly called him, in hopes of being able to work things out with him.
“Kyoutani-san.” She said.
And he instantly stopped in his tracks.
However, there was nothing but silence from his end after he did, so she took it as a cue to carry on instead. “Kyoutani-san, you’re gonna make me angry, you know? You wanna see me angry?”
