ADELAIDE'S POV:"How'd they turn out?" I squealed with excitement, walking over to the photographer.
Kali and I had drove over to Marco and his fiancé's house for a Christmas party/get together. Ally, Peyton, and Vic had also came.
When everyone was gathered together Raymond, Peyton, Kali, and Ally had run off to talk while the other half of us went to the bar where a bartender was standing.
The photographer arrived soon after, and we had scurried away from the bar and maneuvered ourselves over to living room where a Christmas backdrop was at.
The curly haired woman giggled and faced her camera my way so that I could see the screen.
I smiled at the photo of Marco, Victoria, and I. We were all in a group hug. Marco had on a Santa hat, but Vic and I had on reindeer ears. I was in the middle with both of my arms thrown over the other two, my lips pulled into a smile. Marco was also smiling with a bottle of wine in his hands whilst Vic had her tongue stuck out with her head lazily thrown on my shoulder.
She clicked a button on the device and another photo popped up. This time Marco was in the middle, and we all held up finger guns. A genuine smile was on each of our faces which made me smile even wider.
We were all just a tad tipsy.
Just a tad.
"I love it!" I pulled her into an unexpected hug, causing her eyes to widen and her cheeks to flare up.
"I'll send them to your email as soon as possible." she spoke lowly.
"That'll be awesome, thank you." I grinned.
"Of—" her phone ringing cut off her sentence, and she pulled it out while excusing herself.
While she took the call I looked around and noticed Marco and Ally at the bar laughing their heads off. After smiling at their bonding, I continued to search the area, nodding my head along to the music that played throughout the penthouse.
My eyes eventually connected with a familiar color of gray. Kali smirked at me as she brung her glass of champagne to her lips. I watched as she gulped the beverage down before winking at me and resuming her conversation with Peyton and Ally.
I bit down on my bottom lip and reluctantly turned away from my wife. Luckily, Scarlet walked back up to me with an apologetic look and flushed cheeks.
She cleared her throat before speaking, "I'm sorry. That was my girlfriend. Is it okay if I leave a little early?" she nervously asked.
I noticed the way her eyes held a dazed look. She kept her legs crossed as she squeezed her thighs together, and her hands had a firm grip on her camera. Her eyes were lower than before she left and the blush on her face had reached her ears.
I laughed.
Girlfriend duties I guess.
After taking a look around the apartment again, I noticed that no one seemed to be interested in photos anymore, so I sent a nod to the curly haired woman.
"Have fun." I winked at her before trailing off to where my sister and best friend sat.
Upon my arrival, Marco shouted loudly and hiccuped, "Happy New Year!"
I laughed and sat in an open stool beside them, "Wrong holiday, Marc."
He shrugged and slid a shot my way.
Marco threw his hands up, knocking the Santa hat off of his head, "We're doing shots!"
"You're late to the party." Vic pouted, drunkenly.
