VALENTINA'S POV:"You have to come."
"I don't want to come." Valerie crossed her arms defiantly.
"But I want you to come." I pouted.
"Well, I'm not coming." Valerie squinted her eyes at me.
"Why won't you come?" I groaned and threw myself on top of her.
I had came over to Valerie's house when Mamma and Mom left for a party. For the past hour I had been trying to get the brown eyed girl to come with me to go ice skating with the group.
She huffed and mumbled something.
"What was that?" I tilted my head, genuinely wanting to know what she said.
"I said get your heavy ass off of me." she glared at me.
I smirked, "That's not what you said. Tell me what you said and I'll let you go, love."
The brunette blushed at the pet name and put both of her hands over her face in attempts to hide it from me.
"I can't skate." she rushed out in one breath, her face still hidden behind her hands.
There was silence for a while.
Then I laughed loudly.
"It's not funny." the shorter girl whined and threw soft punches at my upper body.
"You're right it's not funny. It's hilarious." I laughed more, ignoring her harmless hits.
"You're such a dick." the shorter rolled her eyes and pushed me off of her.
I attempted to pull myself together and wiped at my eyes, "I'm sorry." I tried to sound convincing, holding back the outburst that wanted to escape.
She flipped me the bird and went over to her vanity.
I smirked at the action, sneaking up behind her and wrapping my arms around her waist, "When?"
She turned around in my arms and flicked my forehead, "Get out."
"Alright. Alright. I'll stop." I chuckled, rubbing my forehead.
That kind of hurt.
"You never stop. It's an ongoing thing with you, Val." she shook her head, a small smile tugging at her lips.
I pouted, offended by her words, "Ok fine. What if I teach you how to do it? Will you come then? You can cling onto me for however long you want. I promise I won't let you fall."
She looked up at me, biting down on her bottom lip in thought. I was going to tell her how much of a turn on her actions were, but decided against it, not wanting to get put out of her room and ruin my chances at getting her to come with me.
"You promise?" she whispered.
I smiled and pecked her lips, "I promise, love."
Our second promise.
"Fine, I'll go." she gave in.
I cheered and did a little dance as she made her way to her closet.
"We're going ice skating! We're going ice skating! We're going—"
"Get out, doofus! I need to change!" she yelled from her closet.
"I don't mind watching!" I yelled back with a smirk.
A hanger came flying my way, causing me to squeal and quickly exit my crush's room.

"Valentina!" Valerie squealed.
"I'm not letting go. Just relax." I soothed.
She sighed and visibly relaxed, making me smile. I skated backwards at a slow speed as she tightly held on to my hands.
She exhaled and followed my movements. A bright smile broke out on her face once she started to get the hang of it. Seeing her this happy warmed my entire being.
"You're doing it." I grinned, praising her.
She laughed and looked up at me. I held my breath as her bright eyes scanned mine. Her stare was intense and her eyebrows furrowed as she studied me.
We were too caught up in each other that we didn't notice the sudden turn on the ice, causing us both to trip and fall. However, I reacted as quickly as I could and made sure that I was the one that fell on the solid instead of her.
A groan left my lips and I had to readjust my vision after they had closed from the impact.
"Shit, are you okay?" Valerie cupped my cold cheeks, the material of her mittens warming my skin.
"Peachy." I grumbled.
I realized our position and felt my cheeks heat up. Valerie's legs were trapped inside of mines as we lied on the cold ground. My arms were wrapped securely around her waist, and our faces were only a few inches apart. I gulped as I watched the cold air escape from the brunette's mouth and hit mine.
I was going to kiss her, but was interrupted.
"Don't do it on the ground. There are children around." Nolan smirked, Alex high-fiving him at his joke.
We pulled away from one another and quickly scrambled to our feet, me having to assist the brunette due to her lack of skill.
Cockblockers.
"Fuck off." I groaned, and skated away with Valerie to take off our ice skates.
Everyone shared a small laugh as they followed after us.
"I could kill for a cup of hot chocolate and marshmallows right now." Hayden voiced as we put our skates in the trunk.
"Same." everyone agreed.

"Oh you got a little something on your face."
Before I could realize what was happening, Valerie wiped my bottom lip with her thumb. I stared in shock as she brung it to her mouth and sucked on it.
I reverted my attention back to my hot chocolate and readjusted my pants.
Not the time.
"Someone's excited." Alex laughed, the whip cream from her cup of hot chocolate forming a mustache on her face.
I rolled my eyes and held back my smile.
Valerie linked our hands and scooted closer to me, placing her head in my neck. I shyly kissed her head, ignoring the teasing from my friends.
We all slowly fell back into a conversation about whether or not Santa is real.
Real immature of us, I know.
And so that's what we did for the rest of the night. Drank countless cups of hot chocolate as we chatted about stupid things that had no logic involved whatsoever, laughed and threw candy canes at each other just for the fun of it, and played childish games that we were all too familiar with.
Valerie and I would occasionally place subtle kisses on each other's lips, cheeks, etc., our friends eventually just ignored it as if it was a usual thing between us.
I didn't want this day to end anytime soon.
