*Jay's pov, on the day of the first snow*

Ugh! You've got to be kidding me! Why does it have to snow today?! I have so many important things to do and this is the last thing that I need to worry about! So annoying! Always getting in my way on the most important days!

I took a deep breath, trying to contain my anger.

Today was a really important day and I just couldn't let this destroy it.

You might be wondering, why is it such a special day? Well, today I'm going to finally talk to my dad about my wanting to take over the company next year. I've been waiting for this moment for years.

I can't wait to be the head of the Park Institution.

Now, this might have confused you even more so let me introduce myself.

Hi, my name is Park JongSeong but my friends and family call me Jay. I am the son of James Park, the CEO of Park Institution, and also the owner of some of the biggest hotels in Korea and Japan. I am 20 years old and I'm an only child. I am a 2nd-year student at Gwacheon Engineering University, one of the best in South Korea. My friends are Heeseung Hyung, a 3rd year engineering student, Sunghoon, who is in the same year as me, Niki, a 1st year student, Jake, Sunghoon's boyfriend, also a 1st year student. I am single and not interested in a relationship. Oh, and I hate snow because every time I see it, something bad happens. It's also cold and just annoying, taking all the color away and just leaving everything white and boring. My favorite season is summer. I like dancing and listening to music. I can play the piano and I'm also learning to play the electric guitar. That's pretty much it. Other than the obvious one: I want to take over my dad's company. I tried talking to him about this 2 years ago but he said I wasn't ready yet so I waited. But I'm done waiting. I am ready for this.

I started driving to my parent's house while snowflakes were falling, making it difficult to see the road.

I guess the world really hates me.

After what felt like an eternity, I got out of my car and went inside the house. My parents were already waiting for me in the dining room so I set down on the sofa in front of them.

"Hello father, hello mother." I greeted politely.

"Hello, son. Why did you call us for a meeting today? Is there something wrong?" My dad asked with a poker face, knowing that I only call them when I need something. That's just how I was raised.
