"What are you doing...?" We were only inches apart. So close to each other.
I was looking at his lips, waiting to connect them with mine...
But he pulled away.
He fucking pulled away. I am not joking right now, I was ready to punch him in the face and just jump off a cliff.
He looked away, stepping away from me while looking annoyed.
Was he serious?! He was the one who was annoyed?!
I knew he didn't like me. He was most probably just annoyed because of us annoying him with our presence.
Glaring at him, I was ready to leave. I was done with this. I just wanted to go home. It was a stupid idea. We weren't in movies where the two characters end up together.
He grabbed my wrist harshly. I was taken aback.
He looked like he was ready to murder someone. He looked at me with deadly eyes.
It made me feel a little scared.
"Where do you think you're going?" He asked with a deep voice.
"Niki, it hurts..." I looked down at my hand and he immediately let go. He wasn't mad anymore. He looked worried and shocked. His mouth was hanging and his eyes widened.
"I- Sunoo... I..." He was almost trembling. "I didn't mean to... I am so sorry..." He gently grabbed my hand, looking at the red spot that he made without even realizing it. "I-I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..." his head was hanging low.
Getting closer to him, I let his head rest on my shoulder.
"It's okay... Just... be more careful next time, okay?" I told him with a soft voice. I knew he didn't mean it. He would never hurt anyone he cares about...
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." I grabbed his face gently, making him look me in the eyes.
"I- " he looked at me with puppy eyes.
"I told you, it's okay. I'm fine, I promise. Please stop apologizing." He looked like he was ready to cry so I hugged him tightly. "It's okay."
After a few minutes, he backs away.
I liked staying like that though... It was comfortable... It made me feel safe.
"I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable..." Niki said.
