I glared at him before walking away... Whatever. I should just go home for now.
A few minutes later, I got home and, with a grumpy face and lost in my thoughts, I went directly to my room, not even noticing Sunghoon Hyung who was looking at me with concern.
When I got to my room, I flopped in my bed and, moments later, I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in..."
"Hey, Jungwon... You okay? You seem off." He asked me with a soft voice making me snap out of my thoughts.
"Oh, yeah...I'm all good. Just... thinking..."
"Wanna talk about it...?" He sat down next to me while waiting for an answer. Me and Sunghoon Hyung are not that close yet so it surprised me that he came to check up on me. He seems like a really nice person. Maybe I should try getting closer to him and become friends. I think that would also make Jake happy.
Moments of silence later, I finally spoke up:
"I was just coming home from University, trying to enjoy the first snow when I bumped into some guy. I immediately apologized but he was still really pissed about it. He got up and started cursing me out while walking away, saying how horrible it was that it was snowing. Well, first of all, it was an accident! And second of all, he can't just blame the snow for everything! That's... why I'm in a bad mood right now..." It sounded childish. I knew that. I was thinking about a random stranger that got mad at me and the snow because he had a long day. It was just ridiculous.
"I don't think you should worry that much about something like this. Maybe that person had a rough day. Everyone has a reason. Don't think too much about it. I also have a friend who isn't a big fan of snow but he has his own reasons. Now, forget about that event! Want some hot chocolate?" He smiled, making me smile back and slowly nod. He's right. I shouldn't think too much about it. Let's just enjoy the snow. I'm not going to let someone ruin this special day for me. "Alright, I will go and make us some. You go sit in the living room and choose a movie while waiting!" He yelled the last part while going to the kitchen.
I did what I was told and, that night, we watched some random cartoons and also invited Jake to tag along. They really made that day even more beautiful than it was already and also made me forget about the boy that I bumped into only a few hours before.
*Time skip, 2 weeks later*
It's been two weeks since the first snow. I've been really busy with University work and my job since then, having no free time whatsoever. Today was another tiring day but at least I knew that I was almost finished with all the exams this semester and, soon, I would be able to relax and maybe hang out with Sunghoon Hyung and Jake again! I couldn't wait!
