"I have an idea..." Jake said after a few seconds.
*Jungwon pov*
I woke up the next morning with my whole body aching and my eyes hurting like crazy. Remembering the events that took place the day before made me feel like my heart got stabbed by hundreds of knives.
I got out of bed and, after washing my face and hoping that the cold water could wake me up from this nightmare, I went to the kitchen and poured myself a glass of water. My throat was killing me.
"Hey Jungwon..." I turned around to see Sunghoon Hyung and Jake looking at me with pity and sadness. A few seconds of silence later, Jake slowly came to me and engulfed me in a hug.
"I'm sorry that it ended like this..." I hugged him back. There were no tears left for me to cry. I felt like I was half dead, like nothing could make things better. I was hurting.
I took some days off from work and University and just stayed in bed, wishing that everything will get better soon. The others were there for me too. I was thankful for them.
A week after the breakup, they came to me and told me that they had a surprise for me. I decided to just go along. I had nothing to lose at this point...
We drove for hours and hours, and, after what felt like forever, I saw something that made my eyes sparkle.
"SNOW!" My eyes started watering while I smiled, looking out the window and seeing everything covered in white. After around 10 minutes, we arrived at the top of the mountain and, like lightning, I jumped out of the car and started running around like a 5-year-old. Getting tired, I threw myself on the soft snow while taking a deep breath of fresh air. Sunghoon Hyung, Jake, Sunoo and Niki also followed, smiling at me.
I looked at them with an even bigger smile and hugged them;
"Thank you guys for bringing me here! This is exactly what I needed. Thank you."
"We're happy to see you smile again. Seeing you so depressed breaks our hearts."
"Thank you. For everything."
After that moment, we played in the snow for another few hours before getting back on the road. We were all red and our clothes were all wet but we couldn't care less. We were all giggling and having a good time.
