You waited until your brother and the others were hanging upside down to sleep to sneak out of the cave. You weren't like the others. You weren't a child of the night. A Vampire. To be honest, the fact that they slept upside down really creeped you out. You quietly tied the shoes of your converse and snuck quietly out of the cave. You knew that David would not be happy to know that you had snuck out without his permission, he was extremely over protective of you. But you wanted some freedom. You wanted a life outside of the cave and during the day time was the perfect time to do that. You walked up and out of the opening of the cave and walked towards the town.
It was mid-afternoon by the time you go to the boardwalk and you smiled, smelling all the good food and hearing all the people laughing a playing. It had been a while since you had gotten to enjoy the boardwalk in the light of the day. You moved around some kids that were running, maybe trying to find their mom or something. You turned around and bumped into someone.
"Oof!" The both of you collided, letting out a grunt. You gasped.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so, so sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you." You apologized. The person chuckled.
"Hey, it's fine. No harm done." The person said. You realized that you had bumped into a man. A handsome looking man. He had beautiful features and neck length, brown curly hair. The man held out his hand.
"I'm Michael." He introduced. You smiled and took his hand.
"[Y/N]." You said. You spent the rest of the day with Michael until well into the evening. You didn't notice your brother or the others were now on the boardwalk, keeping an eye out for the rebellious twin.
"Wanna get something to eat?" Michael asked. You smiled and nodded, having a wonderful time with Michael.
"Okay." You said. Michael led you over to his motorcycle. You were about to get on when four familiar motorcycles surrounded Michael's, boxing him in, making sure he wouldn't leave. You noticed that Star was on the back of David's motorcycle and Laddie was on the back of Dwayne's. David looked at you.
"Where are you goin', [Y/N]?" David asked. You frowned and looked away, knowing that you were going to get a lecture from your brother when you got back to the cave.
"For a ride," you told your twin. You looked over at Michael. "This is Michael." You introduced. Michael reached for your hand.
"Hey, let's go." He said gently. David raised his eyes at you in a silent reminder."[Y/N]." You looked over at your brother. The two of you maintained eye contact for a while, having a silent conversation. Finally, you sighed and gave Michael an apologetic look. You walked over to Paul and placed your hands on his shoulders, hoisting yourself up and onto the back of Paul's bike. David smirked, victoriously at Michael. You could tell by Michael's expression that he thought that you were Paul's significant other. David looked at Michael.
"You know where Hudson's Bluff is, over looking the point?" David asked. You looked at your twin."David, no." You warned. Michael sighed and shook his head, looking at David's bike.
"l can't beat your bike." Michael said. David smirked again.
"You don't have to beat me, Michael. You just have to try and keep up." David said. And with that, he revved his engine. You sighed. You knew this night wasn't going to end very well.
