After David had asked you out, he told you that he was going to take you to an outdoor movie. He didn't tell you what movie it was because he wanted it to be a surprise for you. You decided to wear a white, knotted short sleeve shirt,
some black jean shorts with fishnets underneath
and to finish it off, you wore some converse and a leather jacket David had bought for you.
You quickly walked down the steps of your house. Lucy smiled at you as you walked down, grabbing your purse.
"Have fun on your date, hon!" Lucy called from the kitchen. You smiled. Your mother had been more accepting than your brothers at the fact that David had offered to take you out. The sound of a truck horn outside your house brought a smile to your face. Michael frowned as you put on your converse, tying the laces.
"You know I'm still not happy about this, right?" Michael asked. You looked at your older brother.
"Yeah. I'm aware. And may I remind you, that I don't care." You shot back. You and your older brother never really got along.
"I'll be back by 11, mom!" You called as you opened the door and ran out, closing the door behind you. A smile graced your face as you walked down the driveway to David, who smiled back. You arched your eyebrow in confusion as you saw the truck that David was in. You assumed he would come to pick you up on his motorcycle.
"Good evening. You look beautiful." He said, opening the truck door. He held his hand out to you. You smiled bashfully and blushed, placing your hand in his. Like the gentleman he was, or appeared to be, he pressed a kiss to the back of your hand.
"Thank you. You look good as well." You said. He was wearing his normal black shirt and pants and trench coat. You looked at the truck. "Where'd you find this tuck? I thought you were going to come pick me up on your motorcycle." You said. David smiled.
"Well, how are we going to watch the movie on a motorcycle? Besides, I thought the bed of a truck would be more comfortable than laying on the ground." He said. You shrugged and nodded. He did have a point. David smiled. "You ready?" He asked. You nodded, walking around to the other side. David beat you to it and opened the truck door for you, which you thanked him for. David got into the driver's seat and started driving towards the Boardwalk.

Your nerves were running wild as you got closer and closer to the outdoor movie. You looked at the posters and your nerves of slight fear turned into nerves of excitement.
"Wait, we're watching Friday the 13th?" You asked, excitement clear in your voice. Friday the 13th was your favorite Horror movie of all time. David chuckled and nodded his head. He had bought the tickets before hand and showed them to the people at the gate. They let you in and you two went and found a good spot near the front. David parked the truck and turned it off. He reached behind him and got some blankets out of the back seat. You two got out and David lowered the tailgate of the truck, helping you get in first before he joined you. You two sat against the truck and waited for the movie to start. As you were eating the snacks he had bought you, you felt something tap against your shoulder. Your head shot up and you looked to the side, seeing David trying to look innocent. You looked to your other side and saw his arm resting around your shoulders. You chuckled and looked over at him.
"You know you could have just asked if you wanted to cuddle." You said. David bit back a smile and turned to look at you.
"Yeah well, I decided to try and be smooth about it." He said. You chuckled and rested your head against his shoulder. The movie began.
~~~~
"It's just the way I remembered it. The jump scares and all." You said, smiling. The movie had ended and your nerves of excitement had dwindled down. David smiled as he pulled up into the driveway of your house.
"I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, Darlin'." David said. He looked at you and reached over, tucking a stray piece of hair behind your ear. You smiled, closing your eyes and unconsciously leaning into his touch. "I hope we can do this again sometime." He said quietly. You opened your eyes and smiled.
"I'd like that." You said. You smiled and pressed a kiss to his cheek. "Good night, David." You said, getting out of the truck. David sat there for a moment, stunned. He gently touched the spot where you had kissed him. A smile crossed his face. He was looking forward to taking you on another date in the future.
//Argh! Why does everything I write come out crappy in the end?! I feel like this one is really sucky and I apologize for that. I hope that I can come up with other good ones in the future.//
