"Uh, are you good?" A voice behind me whispered just as they lightly tried to lay their hand on my shoulder causing me to jump slightly before I remembered that I was surrounded by my classmates.

Kirishima walked to my side and looked at me with concerned eyes.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

The boy looked away and rubbed the back of his neck nervously, "Oh, it's nothing...it's just that you kinda punched that Bakugou kid out of nowhere and now he's sulking away from the group."

I stared at the boy, my mind completely blanking on any words that I could say.

"I mean, I'm sure you had a good reason! It'd be pretty uncool for you to punch him just because, but I don't think that you're that kind of person, so it's not like I'm accusing you of that or anything it's just that-"

"Woah, calm down. You're good. I'm fine. And Bakugou is just being Bakugou. Everything's fine, so there's no need for you to worry, okay? I'm sorry for worrying you."

The red head nodded and let his furrowed brows melt into a soft smile. "Oh, that's good."

The assessment tests continued on. I got a pretty good look at each of my classmate's quirks and physical abilities, and I couldn't help but analyze just how easy it would be to take each of them down. It's just something that's always been drilled into me. To look for the weak points, the chinks in people's armor, and exploit it.

And Kirishima was unfortunately right about Bakugou...

Throughout most of the tests he would brood quietly, and then go and do whatever the test was, and then return to brooding. It was starting to get annoying.

So, I decided to try to lighten the mood. I didn't have a lot of experience, but one thing that seemed to be the norm for him was yelling and competition and thankfully, I'm very good at bringing out both in people.

I walked to stand beside the boy and waiting a few seconds before talking just to irk him a bit. "Crazy how we're pretty much neck and neck huh?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about. Go away."

"I mean with all of that talk, you'd think that you'd be able to at least surpass me, but I guess you're not as strong as I thought."

"I AM TOO STRONG!"

Too easy...

The boy had turned to yell at me head on, his hands clenched at his sides rather than crossed across his chest, his eyes flashing red as his anger bubbled over, and his face so close that I could feel his heavy breathing. "Right..."

"Shut up idiot, you don't know what you're talking about. What even is your quirk anyway? You didn't have it when we were kids." His eyes flickered down and then back to mine as he took a step back and a faint red rose to his cheeks, although we'll just say that it was an angry kind of flush.

"Aww that's so cute, you're intimidated-"

"NO I'M NOT!"

I couldn't help but let a laugh out as he got into my face once again, unable to contain his temper for even ten seconds. "Oh boy...you're way too easy Blondie."

He took a step back once more and crossed his arms. "And stop calling me that."

"Oh? And what would you rather me call you? Sparky? Goldie Locks? Blasty? Boom-Boom-Boy? The list goes on-"

"Say another name and it'll be your last." He glared at me out of the corner of his eye, "It's not like you don't already know my name." The last bit came out as a grumble to which I responded with a smirk.
