Truth or Dare

3. 'click'

The temperature rises and the wind picks up so we decide to call it a day and return to our own boats, minus Drew and Austin who stay on ours, to drive back to shore. Though the whole time I keep catching Drew, with an expression on his face I can't quite pin. I ride with the girls and soon enough we pull up at the dock. I hop out and tie off our boat while Chase does theirs. I hold out a hand to Madelyn who is struggling with the cooler, she passes it over to me with a smile.

"Thanks."

I head to my car to grab a few things before we head back to our apartments.

"Hey!" I voice calls from behind me.

I turn to see Drew striding towards me.

"Hey." I smile.

Putting my camera strap over my shoulder I shut the car door and lock it. Shoving the keys into my back pocket and walking towards Drew. I catch Drew giving me what what I think might be a terribly hidden once over. "Seen as Madelyn and Chase are off somewhere in a bit and I think the others are just gonna go back to JD's and watch a movie, wanna run line with me?" He asks.

His face is full of hope...

"Uhh, sure! But imma take a few pics first." I reply holding up my camera.

I brush past him and begin to walk back to everyone who are sat laughing at something out on the dock. 'Click'

"Got it!" I exclaim looking down at the picture I just took.

"You all look spiffy!" I mock.

"Oh so here's the photographer we hired! FINALLY!" Rudy jokes, in the same playful tone.

"Take my picture will you?" He continues leaping to his feet and striking a ridiculous pose.

"Say cheese!" I sing, 'click'

"Oh beautiful!" I declare looking at the picture and showing it to Maddie B who is looking over my shoulder, to which she snickers.

"Now do me!" Chase demands.

Standing up and sticking out his hip, putting his hands up to his face and pouting. 'Click' these are pretty funny. Soon enough we are all having idiotic pictures taken before Chase and Madelyn decide they need to go. I wiggle my eyebrows at Madelyn as if to say 'ooo'. She shakes her head and laughs at me. The others also disperse, something about going over to JD's. At first Rudy seems almost reluctant to leave, claiming he's 'having fun', I mean yeah, sure, but there is something else... Though eventually JD just ends up dragging him to their cars until he caves and goes with them, leaving me and Drew the last two still stood on the dock.

"So looks like it's just you and me Pogue!" Drew smirks looking down at me.

"So it is, KOOK!"

"RACE YAH!" I shout, beggining to leg it towards my car.

I can hear Drew run after me, I skid to a hault as my hands hit the bonnet,

"I WIN!" I boast going to turn to face Drew, but instead I am stopped by a pair of hands on my hips, which lift me up and spin me around.

"I think you'll find, I WIN!" Drew laughs as I scream out in amusement. He spins me for a second more before setting me down gently on my feet. I look up at him, our eyes meet and for a second it feels like we are the only two people on the planet. Suddenly he begins to go in for the kiss, my heart beat flutters in my chest when-

"Hey, DaNnY?!"

I look to see Chase stood gawping. We pull away from eachother quickly.

"Uh, what are you still doing here? I thought you went out?" I ask clearing my throat awkwardly.
