I hated my family... But I would do anything to protect them. As we sat at the dinner table eating dinner, my sister Diana decided that it would be a good time to unload all of the issues she had with our mother all on the table... I smirked at her as I took out my chapstick and applied it to my lips while she continued on as the two women went back and forth. What really caught my ear was when Diana revealed that my cousin Zeke aka Ezekiel Cross was actually my older half-brother... My mother's lies had finally caught up with her. I grabbed my mother as she launched her body will all of her being as Diana slammed a birth certificate on the table and slid it toward Zeke... He looked at the paper in confusion and stated that the year was incorrect on the birth certificate. I did my best not to laugh at the idiot, but Diana explained that my mother had lied to him the entire time and that in fact, my mother was not his aunt, she was his MOTHER. Secondly, she also lied about his age. Zeke was not nineteen years old, he was twenty-three. Zeke was a star basketball player at his University here in New York City, and it would be against NCAA regulations for him to play basketball and it also put his NBA Draft prospects in jeopardy. Zeke left the living room in a fit of rage as my mother tried to console him and threaten Diana at the same time. In the wake of the events that occurred that night, my mother, Monet devised a plan that would help to fix all that drama she had caused in my family. She claimed that this plan would help her kill two birds with one stone...
