Robert Allen continued his education at The Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia a year after he transferred from The University of Mississippi, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Chemistry. He previously majored in Multi Diseplenairy studies at The University of Mississippi. After the traumatizing events that occurred in Mississippi, he did not dwell on them, instead, he took the advice of his new friend at Georgia Tech, Darnell Jones, and went to therapy to work through his demons. After months of hard work, Robert has grown tremendously from the experiences he has had and he now approaches certain situations from a different point of view. He has learned four main valuable lessons...

One: People Will Reveal What They Want To You

During the traumatizing experience, Robert was exposed to the true colors of what Iverson was hiding. On the outside, Iverson was a handsome young man, who was smart, ambitious, and capable of fulfilling his sexual needs, but deep down, he was an obsessed serial killer who would do anything to make sure that their relationship not only survived but thrived. And when he meant he would do anything to make sure the relationship remained intact, he meant ANYTHING. Which included killing people who stared at Robert for too long, or smiled at him. Eventually, true colors will be revealed, no matter how hard a person may try to hide them from you.

Two: Obsession can be a powerful and destructive tool.

Obsession has the ability to paralyze us, not physically, but mentally. Other times, it can lead to compulsive behaviors. Iverson's obsession with Robert began to manifest itself in the murders he committed over the course of time. He loved Robert so much, that he would do anything to keep their relationship intact even if it meant risking life in prison. Obsessions are also sometimes driven by fear. Iverson was fearful of being lonely again, and of losing his dream man in the blink of an eye to some other guy.  Slowly, once his obsession and fascination with Robert intensified, it began to dominate his psyche and sucked the life directly out of him. Eventually, Iverson became numb to life itself, that is why he was not answering Robert's calls or text messages near the end of the book. Secondly, the Detective's obsession with trying to solve the case led him to miss minute details which led him to believe that Tyriq and Cane were the ones who shot Deuandrea

Three: Take Your Time, Do Not Rush It A Relationship And Do Not Ignore The Red Flags

We have all been there, we've been swooned by the good looks and charms of a guy or gal, and we fell head over heels in love.  This happened phenomenon, happened to Robert and Iverson. The two were so overcome with lust, that they were blind to what they were actually getting themselves into, especially Robert. Robert ignored the signs, he ignored the red flags that were represented to him and he went into a relationship with Iverson anyway, not knowing that Iverson was really a compulsive, serial killer.

Four: Do Not Look Back AT What Was... Instead, Look To The Future With The Lessons You Were Taught By Your Experiences

Far too many of us live defined by the choices we made in the past. This shouldn't be the case. After all, each new day presents an opportunity to become a new person on a new road destined for a new future. Robert decided to move on from the events that occurred in Mississippi, eventually, he grew from those experiences and moved on to a better and changed person. He did not let his past experiences control him, instead, he grew from them and learned valuable life lessons. He did not let his past define him, eventually, Robert got married to a wonderful guy, who he met at Georgia Tech in a science class, he then went on to work for there United States Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia, started a family and coached basketball at Maynard H. Jackson High School in his spare time. He didn't choose to forget the lessons life taught him, he learned from them. But those who choose to simply forget the past miss out on its fullest potential. There are valuable lessons to be learned from it. And those who choose to ask the right questions about their past are most prepared to live life to the fullest in the present. If we start asking the right questions, there are countless life-giving lessons we can learn from our past. Never feel that you have to be defined by it. But it would be equally foolish to forget it completely when it offers so much potential for the present...

I thought this would be my last book... But I guess life and God had other plans, after a dry spell of new ideas for books and burnout, I finally came up with a new idea... a new book... So with the ending of this book, I would like to announce a new beginning... The Title of My New Book will be revealed as a chapter update of this book on Saturday, March 26th, 2022 at 9 AM Central Standard Time, USA. I am so excited for you to take a new ride with me in the journey of a new character you've already been introduced to (Can You Guess Who?") ...
