(Scene opens in Star's and Nick's room. Glossaryck is eating Cornritos corn chips with his feet.)
Glossaryck: (Picks up a chip) Hmmmm... (throws it away, picks up another) Hmm...
Star: (Leaps out of her bed pillows) Ugh, just eat one already!
Nick: ...-_-... Ugh, seriously, it's not hard to pick a chip and eat it–
Glossaryck: (Cuts him off) There's only ever one chip worth eating. Besides, if this is too boring, you two could be practicing your magic.
Nick: Glossy, wait. About my magic–
Laser puppy: Woof!
Nick: ...-_-... Seriously? Of all things to cut me off, it was a laser puppy?
Star: Fine! (Walks to spell book) What are we learning today?
Glossaryck: Why don't you guys pick one? Pick anything.
Star: (Gasps) And mom would be cool with that?
Glossaryck: Yes, there's a lot I do that she isn't cool with.
Star: Well, how cool would she be with... this?! (Laughs evilly)
Nick: ...-_-...
Glossaryck: The table of contents? A thrilling choice.
Star: Why is that in the middle? (Flips to another page) Ehh?
Glossaryck: (Tosses chip at Star's head) Pedestrian.
Star: (Flips to another page) Ehh?
Glossaryck: (Tosses another chip at Star's head) Boring.
Laser Puppy: (Barks)
Glossaryck: (laughs, holds up a chip) The perfect chip!
Star: Ohohoho. What's this?! (She shows Glossaryck the page. It's locked by magic blue chains and a skull.)
Nick: (Walks up to Star, and raises a brow as he sees the page.) I don't know why, but it kinda looks familiar...
Glossaryck: Oh, no-no-no. (Takes spell book away from Star.)
Star: Hey! You said anything!
Nick: Yeah, that's not fair, Glossy!
Glossaryck: (Looks at the twins) It's the most dangerous chapter in the book. It shouldn't even be in there. Your mom would totally freak out.
Star: Okay, okay, you sold me! I wanna read that!
Nick: Me too, me too!!
Glossaryck: Oh, I don't know Star. It could... taint you. And Nicholas, you may not want to see what's in here, considering your last... dark magic encounter.
Nick's thoughts: He's concerned for me?
Nick: It's fine, that was just one time. (Grabs Glossaryck's chip and gives it to Star.)
Glossaryck: Nicholas– ...I don't have time for this. (Gasps sadly) Perfect chip!
Star: Unlock it.
Glossaryck: That's not going to work.
Star: Unlock it... or else. (Brings the chip to her mouth.)
Glossaryck: (To Star) You wouldn't.
Star: Ah-ah-ah... (Moves her tongue precariously around the chip.)
Glossaryck: Okay, okay. (Grabs the chip) Chip. (Eats it)
Star: Okay, so...
Glossaryck: Yes, yes, but, um... (Glossaryck pushes Star and Nick away from the book with a spell.)
