???: (Stops in her tracks and faces towards him with a furious look; tears are strolling down her cheeks) You're right. I should've known better than to trust you. Here I thought I could change you for the better. I thought the loving, charming, and kind side of you was the real you. But it turns out, I was mistaken. I see now that you are nothing but an evil, manipulative monster who only cares about himself. Toffee: (Rolls his eyes) Spare me the sob story, Eva. I don't care how you feel about her. Plus... it's adorable how you honestly thought you could change me. (Inside the castle, young Moon Butterfly, wearing a black robe, sits in her bedroom holding a picture of herself as a child and her mother Comet Butterfly. Behind her, Count Mildrew appears in her doorway.)
Mildrew: Hey. I'm sorry, am I bothering you?
Mourning the loss of your mother? I understand.
Moon: It's been a hard week, but I'm–
Mildrew: (Suddenly hugs Moon) There's no need to be strong. Deal with your feelings. We will handle everything else.
