Charline watched her son sleeping peacefully in his crib. Elvia was also fast asleep in her crib in her parents chambers with a maid looking after her.
Charline slowly walked over to her and Emersion's bed and sat down in it. She longed for her husband to be back and for him to hold her in his arms again. She trusted Emersion with all her heart and now she feared that she would actually lose him forever. She slowly wiped a few tears away and stood up and softly started to sing,
I never thought it would come to this
Now I'm alone, waiting for you to come home
When you are alone, look to the stars and they will guide you home
To my heart that is waiting for you
Come to me, let the stars guide you home and tell me you promise never let go
And she sighed deeply and wiped her tears away. She walked through the empty corridors of The Land Of Rivers, glancing up at the stars. Why couldn't everything be at peace? Hopefully this was the last threat that would ever come to face Shivanna.
In Solania, the Gods had started preparing for battle. Erline went over to her husband and Alaric turned to his wife. "Will you tell her?," Erline asked seriously. Alaric looked at her shocked, "Are you insane?! Aurora can never know the truth about The Bound!," And Erline looked at him angrily, "You say that our daughter shall live for eternity with a whole in her heart!?," And Alaric looked at her angrily, "It was your choice to send that Leclitra girl to the normal world! I told you it would have consequences!," And Erline looked at him angrily, "It was the only way to keep our daughter safe! To keep them both safe! Aurora needs her Elmia! Don't you see that!?," And Alaric sighed and looked down, "We'll talk about this after Amara is defeated and until then, you will not say anything!," And he passed her and Erline sighed deeply.
