When sun arose two days later, the journey began. Emersion was in charge of leading the way because he was the one who could feel Amara's magic. But they feared the battle that was to come since the gods had not yet to arrive.
When the night fell, everyone was settling down for camp. Emersion didn't seemed to have any interest of getting some sleep at all which was something that concerned Faylinn. Charline had stayed in The Land Of Rivers with her daughter and her and Emersion's son.
Faylinn slowly walked over to the wizard. "Emersion, shouldn't you get some sleep?," she asked in concern. Emersion turned to the goddess. "I'm a Dark One. Dark Ones do not need sleep," he declared. Faylinn looked at him suspiciously, "That is not true of what I've read since I was entered into this world. According to what Silvianna showed me. And you're not only a Dark One, you're also a Demon Hunter. And the Demon Hunters are a part human as all humanly half demons are. And as Charline has told me, you sleep normally peacefully in the nights," Emersion sighed and turned to her. "You are really insisting for me to rest, don't you?," he asked. Faylinn smiled but nodded. They turned to join the others for sleep when Amara's dark creatures broke into their camp. Everyone drew their weapons and Emersion raised his hand to destroy the creatures with his magic. Thondin drew his ax and Emersion turned around and saw Amara. "Hello, Emeritus," And she sent him into a tree. Emersion stood. 'Emeritus! Emeritus, fight her! Save us!,' A voice of a child spoke in his mind. Emersion stood up. "Tititri delami!," Emersion pronounced and sent Amara to the ground with his magic. Amara stood up in anger as everyone turned to face the witch. Emersion went over towards her. "What happened to you, Amara?," And Amara looked at him angrily, "I grew up," And she sent him to the ground. 'Emeritus! Don't let her win!,' The child's voice spoke to Emersion. Amara smiled wickedly as she walked towards the weak wizard. "Emeritus, not so mighty now," And Emersion looked up at her angrily, "Well, what are you waiting for!? Kill me like you killed my fellow Demon Hunters all those years ago. Fill your heart with hatred and darkness until there's no light left in your heart!," And Amara looked at him angrily and raised her hand when Emersion to her surprise sent her to the ground and stood up, "Is this really what you wanted, Amara!?," he asked. Amara looked up at him angrily and a after a few minutes, she stood up. "I blame myself for what you've become!," Emersion declared. Amara looked at him, "You may win this battle, but you will not escape your doom," And she disappeared in a dark cloud of smoke.
