Teddy Lupin- Twist In Time

Hall of Memories

Nyx's POV-

"Come on Teddy." I said for what felt like the millionth time, "Its time to get up." I was in the boys room, girls are allowed in, shaking the lazy idiot and trying to get him to wake up, "We're leaving in twenty minutes."
No matter how much I yelled he wouldn't wake up, so as a last attempt, I rolled him out of his bed and onto the floor.

"Aah!" He shrieked as he hit the ground.

"Wake up lazy bones." I said, giggling as he started to get up, "We need to leave now."

"Where to?" He mumbled, trying to get back into bed.

"The Hall of Memories." I said, taking the duvet away from him and throwing it into Alfie's bed.

"The Hall of Memories?!" He shouted, sitting up and looking at the clock on the other side of the room. He fell out of his bed, again, but scrambled to his feet straight away and ran to the bathroom. I took his robes out of his trunk and laid them down on the bed.

"Clothes on the bed!" I shouted towards the bathroom, "I'll be in the common room."

"OK!" He yelled back, "Thanks!"

As I headed down the stairs I was instantly swamped by a load of second and third year girls.

"Is he gorgeous?" One of them asked.

"Does he have a girlfriend?" Another one yelled at me.

"Do you have a crush on him?" A third year said, leaning on my arm.

"RIGHT!" I heard someone yell, "LEAVE HER ALONE AND GET TO YOUR CLASSES!"

All the girls left instantly and I got a good view of who it was. Liam was standing on the sofa with his hand pointing towards the portrait door.

"Thanks Liam." I grinned at the prefect, "I needed to be saved from that."

"That's alright." He smiled back, climbing down off the sofa.

"What's the time?" Teddy yelled, running down the stairs and into the common room.

"Ya have ten minutes." Storm smiled at him, moving up on the sofa so he could sit down.

"I'm scared." He said suddenly, tucking his knees up to his chest, "I've never met my parents and I can't remember them at all."

"Teddy." I said comfortingly, sitting on the arm of the sofa and wrapping an arm around his shoulders, "You'll be fine, I promise."

"What if they don't like me?" He whispered, looking close to tears, "What if I don't like them?"

"They'll love you Teddy." Alfie assured him, taking the words out of my mouth, "You're their only son, the one they died for."

"You don't have long guys." Liam said, heading towards the door, "I'd leave now if I were you."

"We will." I replied, standing up and pulling Teddy with me, "Thanks again Liam.". Storm and Alfie stood up as well, following me and Teddy to the portrait door.

"Thanks Professor." I remembered to say as the painting swung shut behind us.

"Don't mention it." He grumbled, but I had a slight suspicion that he was smiling.
Teddy had cheered up by the time we reached the foot of the stairs and was laughing and joking.

"Nice to see you four." Professor McGonagall smiled down at us,"That means that now we are just waiting for the Slytherins."

A couple of minutes later Nero, Zinnia, Marcus and a small, shy girl called Tuesday turned up and the Professor faced all of us.
