"Teddy please don't do this my darling." Tonks begged her son after he had explained his plan, "You could get hurt, or worse."

"I need to actually meet you." He protested, tears pouring down his face, "To know you, hug you."

"You don't need to do this son." Remus smiled sadly, tears spilling from his eyes, "We'll always love you, no matter where we are."

"But I just have to." Teddy sobbed, leaning gently on Nyx's shoulder, "I just... I miss you so much."

"We can't stop him Dora." Remus said softly, slipping his hand into hers, "Let him go, we can meet him at last."

"Me and Nyx are going too," Alfie smiled weakly, "We promise to look after him for you."

"Thank you Alfie, Nyx." Tonks said seriously, looking like she could hug the two children.

"Good luck." Remus said, tear tracks staining his pale face, "My son."

"I love you." Teddy whispered, words catching in his throat, "And I can't wait to meet you in the flesh."

"Teddy we need to leave." Nyx said softly, "Professor Cole's waiting." The plan that the Headmistress had devised was simple. The Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher would escort the three first years to Grimmauld Place where they would use the Time Turner to go back to 1995. The Professor would then wait until Teddy, Nyx and Alfie returned, ready to take them back to Hogwarts.

"I'll see you again." Teddy assured his parents, wiping a tear from his cheek, "As soon as I can."

"Professor Cole?" Nyx asked, sticking her head round the door of their Professor's classroom and searching for her.

"There you are." Anna Cole smiled at them, standing up from behind her desk and hurrying towards them, swinging an old travelling cloak over her shoulders, "Are you ready to leave?"

"How are we getting there?" Alfie asked as the Professor herded them outside, "To Grimmauld?"

"Professor McGonagall said we'd be taking a Portkey." Teddy piped up, watching as the teacher locked her door, a large trunk in her hand.

"We need to hurry up then." Nyx squeaked nervously, "If we're not there, it could leave without us."

"Its fine Nyx." Professor Cole said, "The Headmistress is setting it when we get there so that we can leave when we want to. Your trunks have already been taken ahead, we'll find them in Grimmauld when we get there."

"Lets go." Teddy said nervously, leading the others through a maze of corridors, trying to distract himself by twirling his wand. They were the only people out and about, the others were either in lessons or being given their timetables in the Great Hall.

"Password?" The Griffin asked as the four approached it.

"Alastor." Professor Cole said and waited as it jumped aside, "You three first." Nyx started to walk up the spiral staircase; Alfie, Teddy and the Professor following after. At the top of the staircase Nyx knocked a couple of times on the old door and it swung open straight away, letting them in.

"Are you all ready to leave Miss Cole?" McGonagall asked the teacher who nodded once or twice, "Right, all four of you place your forefinger on this goblet, I will do the spell and you will be transported to Grimmauld Place. Are you ready?"

"Yes Miss." The children chorused, placing their fingers on the ornate goblet that the Professor had given them.

"Porteus." McGonagall muttered, pointing her wand at the cup. It glowed a bright blue just as Professor Cole got her finger to it, still holding the heavy trunk in her hand. They all felt a sharp jerk from behind their navel as their feet were lifted off the ground. A force seemed to move off the goblet, sticking their fingers to it. A strong wind flew around them, whipping Teddy's pale blue hair in his face. And then-

They landed, the children falling backwards onto the floor. Teddy looked around, grinning at the sight that met him.

"I think I'm gonna show the others round before we leave Professor," Tedddy said, "Just so they know the way around."

"Of course you can." Professor Cole smiled, "I'll just set up the Time Turner."

"Thank you Professor." Nyx grinned, also looking around.

"Call me Anna out of school guys." The Professor said kindly, putting her trunk down on the sofa, "Your bags will be in the kitchen."

"Thank you Anna." Alfie beamed, "Give us a shout when you're ready."

"I will." She nodded, watching them leave, "Enjoy yourselves."

"Right guys," Teddy told his friends after the door was shut behind them, "I'm gonna take you round the house and tell you a bit about each person who'll be here."

"Right we're ready to leave now guys." Anna smiled at the three children, "Grab your bags and come into the living room."

"Sure Anna." Nyx grinned, standing up from her seat at the kitchen table and grabbing her bag off the floor.
The first years followed her, each holding their own bag.

"Are you ready to leave?" Anna asked as they headed into the living room. She held up a golden necklace and smiled encouragingly at them, "Put this round your necks and turn it thirteen times. Ready?" Nyx, Alfie and Teddy draped the chain around their necks and nodded silently.

"One, two..." Teddy started, holding the golden hourglass in two shaking hands and spinning it once on each number, "...twelve, thirteen." He finished, nervously pressing the small button on the top.

Colours spun around the three children, reds, golds and bronzes and warm air enveloped them. Just as quickly as it started, it stopped. The warmth slowly disappeared, only to be replaced with a harsh, biting cold, and the room again began to come into focus.

"Who are you?" Said a harsh, if slightly surprised, voice from behind them.

"We'd rather not say." Teddy began, turning on the spot, only to see his father, Remus Lupin, staring down at him, wand in his hand, "Its you." The young boy said quietly, "You."...
