Riah was just getting done with math when three girls and a guy walked over to her, slapping the books she was holding out of her hands, "Well girls, it looks like we have fresh meat, you're one of them barnet twins or whatever your last name is. I've seen your brother, I can see he is way better looking than you." The girl with short blue hair poured coffee onto her head as she spoke, her tone of voice was stern and cold.

"Well, she's pretty enough to be a one-night stand but other than that she's nothing but a freak, since my dad is the principal, I got to see her file. She got kicked out of her old high school for burning a girl's hair off and beating another student until he was in the hospital. Some rumors say she took the blame for her brother since he was protecting her, but, I think she's just a freak." Riah's head dropped as she listened to every word said until she heard a familiar but odd voice from across the hall.

"At least she doesn't look like a shriveled-up blueberry or a half-assed troll." When Azariah looked up, she noticed a girl with raven black hair, wearing a nice blue dress and books in her hands. Riah's heart felt like it was about to bust out of her chest, she had no clue as to why but she could feel her cheeks get hot.

"Lillian?! How dare you!!" Lillian walked over to Azariah helping her up, she kept her eyes on the group as she spoke, she had only been going to that school for about half a month but she had had dealings with this group before and this was the last step.

"Jina hush up honey, your not pretty when you're mad." Riah tried not to laugh as Lillian held onto Riah's hand tightly, Jina said nothing and walked away.

"Thank you, my name is--" Before Riah could finish Lillian had disappeared, just then her brother ran up to her panting, he was holding a bag of books for his studies.

"I saw what happened but was held up by my environmental professor, who was that girl? Are you ok? Did they hurt you at all?" Riah was quiet, she could only think about how beautifully gorgeous Lillian had looked, "Azariah Bennett?! Come on answer me!!" She finally snapped out of it and answered her worry-wort of a twin brother.

"Yes I'm fine, that girl's name was Lillian! She was so pretty and she helped me against bullies! Also no they didn't hurt me, I'm perfectly fine. all they did was pour coffee on me." Riah said as she touched her hair and then shook the coffee off her hand.

"Hey there cutie, wanna come to my house tonight for a small group party? Let's say seven?" Silas walked up to Riah's locker as the bell rang, she looked at him and answered.

"But, didn't you call me a, and I quote '"One-night stand'" and a, '"Freak'"?" She looked dead in his eyes waiting for his response knowing it wasn't going to be smart. She rolled her eyes as she started to walk away.

"Yeah but, I didn't mean it, I swear!"  He went after her as she walked away, "I promise if you come over tonight you won't regret it!" She caved and said yes, however, there were conditions. If she were to come, her brother would be waiting outside in their aunt's car and reluctantly he agreed. Later on that night, she was in her room getting ready when her brother walked in, he had a sad and worried look on his face as he sat on her bed.

"Aza- I don't think you should go, remember what they said and did to you this morning?" She sighed, she knew her brother was right but, she had to find out why they wanted her to go after what they said.

"I understand but this is my chance to find out why me? Do you know what it feels like to hear all of what they said? Plus you'll be there, so I have nothing to worry about." They both smiled and got into the car driving to Brain's address since he wrote on her homework. Once they got there she had asked Fox to erase the address off of the paper, Riah hugged her brother and went in the gate, she gasped at the sight of his house, it looked almost like a castle, she walked to the door and opened it giving a wide smile.
