"Wake up girls!! It's time to eat breakfast, then it's off to the castle! We're having salimel eggs with my pelite pancakes!!" Riah yelled as she pulled the blanket off of Tara and Lillian.
"Ah!!! Come on girls!! Put some clothes on!" Lillian threw a pillow at her as she pulled the blanket back.
"It's your fault Riah-bug! We'll be down in a few minutes." Lillian said getting up putting her lace bra on and getting dressed. When they arrived at the table it was all decorated with food, as they sat down everyone started talking.
"So why after breakfast?" Fox asked as he stuffed his face, everyone rolled their eyes.
"Because Fox, my family sleeps on Saturday, it's the only way to be able to feed on Sunday, which makes the week ahead easier on everyone," Cassius stated as he and Lillian looked around nervously.
"We have to find a way to feed before tonight or we'll be no help." Tara raised her hand as did Skyler.
"Since Riah is pregnant please allow me to be of service, everyone here is like my family, I would hate to see anyone fail." Riah didn't like the idea of Cassius feeding off of someone else but, she knew it couldn't be helped by her being pregnant, Cassius didn't want to take the risk of harming her or the baby. They have to feed for them to walk in daylight, it is typical for the daywalker clan to feed off of the homeless in Arcaina since no one knew what to do with them, plus no one wanted to stand up to the clan due to reasons unknown.
"Well, now that that is taken care of how about we start our journey?" Riah smiled and started walking out of the cafe Cassius walked over to her holding on to her side making sure she wouldn't fall.
"I'm fine hon, I promise if I even think I'll fall I will call you." Cassius nodded and caught up with Fox.
"So, are you going to explain what you meant by fiance? When did that happen? How do I know you're going to treat my sister well?" As the others continued on Fox and Cassius took the route slowly so they could talk. Cassius laughed and put his hand on Fox's shoulder hugging him.
"Oh, dearest Fox, you know how much I love your sister? I would be willing to risk my life to see her live. So I would never hurt your sister man, plus dude, she can be crazily scary." They laughed and by ten am they reached the palace. Riah felt a bit faint so she, Lillian, and Cassius stayed behind as the others went and searched the rest of the surroundings to make sure the coast was clear.
"Okay, everyone in the palace seems to be asleep-" Just as Tara was about to finish a man and a woman walked in wearing cloaks, the woman pulled her hood down revealing a girl with ice blue hair and red eyes, it was none other than Jina Akua.
"Jina? What the hell are you doing here?" Lillian asked while Cassius looked over, at that moment everything stopped. Jina looked at Cassius and smiled waving at him.
"I'm Jina Akua, I want to say, Azariah? I'm so very sorry for what I did to you, I shouldn't have done it. You shouldn't forgive me I know but I still feel bad about what I did." Jina dropped her head and bowed, as did the man, "You know maybe you should put down your hood and explain? After what you know who did she might think it was you." The male put down his hood showing his long turquoise hair and ice-blue eyes, he looked different but it was defiantly Silas Akua.
"Silas? Is that you or is it-" Silas didn't let her finish as he embraced her tightly, he had honestly missed her but didn't know why. He was beyond happy to see her safe, it had only been a few months in Arcaneia but a year in the mortal realm.
"Shh, don't worry it was never me, I would never do that to you. I'm so glad to see you safe." Fox walked over with a serious look on his face but instead of yelling he just smiled and patted him on the shoulder.
"I knew it couldn't have been you! Tell me, what happened and how are you here??" Fox, Riah, and Silas sat down so he could explain the events that had occurred while Jina and Cassius went outside to talk.
"My word aren't you the most beautiful human I've ever seen ma'am." Cassius took her hand in his and kissed it.
"Oh, we aren't humans." Cassius looked at Jina confused and asked.
"Then what exactly are you?" Just then he is interrupted by Silas and Riah walking in holding hands.
"Oh, we are water fay. Our parents are the leaders of the akua jade clan. Jina is my sister and has to pay for what she has done to you Riah, she has been stripped of her powers." Riah said nothing but embraced Jina, she smiled and hugged back tightly.
"Ahm, I hate to break up the reunion but we found the tree you were looking for." Everyone but Cassius and Jina who walked to another room gasped as they walked over to the tree, Riah looked at her brother as he handed her their family knife, the ritual was about to take place when there was sudden darkness as they were surrounded.
