Chapter Four

"Riah!!! Your powers!!" Fox grabbed Riah and Silas as he ran out to their car, as they got in they all busted out laughing causing Silas to give RIah a big kiss on the cheek.

"What the hell got into you tonight Riah? Aunt Missy would kill us if she found out you lost control of your powers!" Silas put his hand on Fox's shoulder and spoke.

"It's my fault dude, I told her how I feel and she kinda got a burst of confidence out of nowhere." He smiled and continued, "Besides man! That was kinda hot!" Fox glared at him.

"Hey now! That's my sister your talking about." When they made it to Silas's place he and RIah went up to his room. The night of the freshmen party Silas was getting ready to meet up with Fox and RIah, however, his brothers had other plans, "Hey Silas can you come here?" He walked to his brother's room where he was injected with sleeping medication. When he woke up he was chained to a chair with his brother sitting in front of him.

"What the fucking hell Blake? Undo these chains! I have to meet up with Riah." His brother just looked at him and laughed.

"Oh, you'll be there, or should I say I'll be there? See I like her, so I'm going to take what I want." Water started filling the room as Silas gave his brother the look of death, "Aw, what's wrong? Did I hit a nerve? Whoa there, stod with the water dear brother, you can have her once I'm done." As the water kept rising he tried breaking free, his brother got dressed in Silas's clothes and left, while getting ready Fox asked Riah a serious question.

"Are really planning on going? I was hoping you'd stay home so I could." Riah laughed and looked at her brother with a smile.

"Do I really have a choice since Silas is going?" She said walking into the kitchen to make something to eat due to sir eats a lot, "Don't tell me you are hungry again! You ate both our lunches! Haha." She let out a laugh as they went upstairs to get ready for the dorm party. It was about ten by the time they got done, Fox wore a black t-shirt with a blue denim jacket, a pair of grey jeans, and a brown beanie. He was waiting for his sister when there was a knock at the door, a puff of black smoke was still in the air as he opened it, there lay a box labeled To Azariah Evergreen-Bennett From C. Fox stared at the gift box, it smelt familiar and almost calming, before he shut the door he saw a figure close by watching him as he quickly shut the door running upstairs and grabbed his swiss army knife aunt Missy had given him to protect his sister and him. Fox then went up and knocked on Riah's door.

"Riah? There was a box delivered with your name? I will leave it at the door for you." To spare his sister's worrying he decided not to tell her anything and just give her the gift. Azariah opened the door after Fox went back downstairs, as she picked it up her hands became warm and a heart of fire popped out of it. Riah backed away shocked, the heart of fire busted into a bunch of black rose petals. In the box was a green hoodie dress, with a pair of brown leggings, black boots, and a note reading Wear this tonight, and you'll soon know, C.  shook it off and put the unknown outfit on walking downstairs, her brother smiled and spoke.

"Is this what was in the mysterious box?" She shook her head and walked over giving him a hug, "Are you ready to go, dear sister? Lord knows I'm stoked, oh and starving!" With that being said Azariah rolled her eyes and ran to the car grabbing Fox's keys. He walked out and over to the car looking around for the figure again, when he didn't see it, he got in and drove.

"What was that all about Fox? You seem off, are you okay?" He stayed quiet for a few minutes thinking about what lie to tell for her to believe.

"It looks like it's going to rain so I was checking to see how much time we would have to party you know?" When they got to the party they stepped out of the car and locked it up and started walking to the dorms when she bumped into Silas's brother. 

"Do you want a drink? Some food? Maybe dance a little?" Blake pulled her into the dorms where music was playing.

"Let's go to the food station then go dance." By two am Blake was drunk, he pulled Riah out into the field.

"Um, so where are we going? I shouldn't really leave my brother alone with Jina." Riah says as she looks over to Jina pulling her brother to the couch and talking. 

"You're pretty hot for someone related to her. So where are mommy and daddy at? Dead? Or what?" Jina said as she pulled him over to the couch and sat down.

"Uh, Silas? Why are you smiling like that? Where are we--?" Just then Blake turned towards her and moved closer, Riah stepped back and finished speaking. "Don't try anything asshole! You're not my Silas! Where is he?" She stepped back as she spoke, "I'm getting back to my brother and we're going to find Silas and go home. Also, the dean will be hearing about this." Blake's expression was filled with anger as he gripped her waist and pulled her forward, she fought and he ended up pushing her down to the ground ripping her dress a smidge as he got closer she called out a name she never heard before.

"Cassius!!!!" Just then it started to hail and thunder, the winds picked up, and lighting clashed hitting Blake causing him to be knocked out. Due to Cassius being her best friend's brother and her childhood friend, she had no idea why she would call his name. All of her memories started flowing back to her. Max appeared and lifted her up as she passed out from shock, he roared calling to Star and Fox to get their attention, Star started pawing at the necklace making it move off his neck a little towards Azariah's location which caused Fox to begin anxiously looking around.

"I have to go find my sister something is wrong. It was nice meeting you but bye!" Jina held onto Fox's arm as tight as she could, but her hands soon started burning causing blisters to appear on her removing her hands from his arm. When Fox made it over to Riah he fell to the ground clutching his head his memories flowed back to him and the world went black.
