The appearance of Y/n

chapter nine

As I continued on with some of my shopping for food I haven't realized the pair of red eyes watching me intensely from up above the window of the hokage office building. watching as I observe every delicious food each stand sold. itachi smiled as he observed y/n from above and watching her be right in front of his presence once again. for it has been quite  empty ever since the boys and y/n have been separated, though a pang of hurt spread in his heart as he figured out that you haven't recognized him or any of the boys. though he and the rest of the boys were  ready to make you remember them and everything you guys shared and went through. the feeling of home and security that they felt with you because you were truly the first person who wasn't afraid of them and accepted them as human beings and not as some murdering monsters that most displayed them as. he continued on the hallway to make his way to the hokage's door as he knocked and entered upon permission of the hokage herself.

later after finally getting everything you needed to make some actual food other than toast, ramen  and expired milk to make for yourself and naruto you decided to head home. as you walked down the streets headed towards the apartment you currently shared with naruto you started to feel tired from your arms from how heavy the grocery were. as you rounded the corner you ran into ino and her team.

"Hey y/n chan, need a hand with those?"

ino asked as I gave her a small smile while nodding my head yes.

"I would really appreciate it. my arms are killing me!"

she chuckled before she called over the two boys who were a few feet behind her, approaching us. I glanced over behind her as I saw two boys stop right behind ino. she asked them if they would be gentleman's and lend a helping hand to me as one of the boys agreed, no question asked. the other boy with spikey ponytail looked bored and sighed annoyingly.

"What  a drag.."

"shikamaru"

ino growled angrily at the boys laziness as he sighed yet again and reached for a bag I was carrying.

"Hey I'm choji and this is shikamaru, nice to meet you. are you new in the village?"

"Hello choji, shikamaru nice to meet you both. and yeah... it's actually a long and confusing story."

I giggled shyly as ino chuckled herself knowing the whole story. while we started making our way down the street to narutos place. We had finally made it as we all chatted along the way there, well me, choji and ino did most of the talking. shikamaru seemed uninterested in what were talking about and was ready to drop the bag of groceries off and ditch me so he could go hangout in his hideout place. where ever that was..

"Thank you guys so much for lending me a hand with these. again I'm sorry for making you go out of your way to help me with my groceries  when you could be off doing something else important."

"It's our pleasure y/n chan."

"yeah it was no problem y/n chan. it was nice to finally meet you."

"ya.. it was a drag but no problem."

me and choji giggled as ino was scolding shikamaru about his lack of interest and rudeness as he stood there looking at her uninterested as that set her more on fire. choji then started to shoo them away while walking with them and waving me a goodbye while I smiled at them and went inside to put everything away. As I finished putting away all the food where it went I decided to clean a up a bit.

after maybe about 2 hours of dusting and scrubbing everywhere, the apartment was looking spotless and clean. I sighed as I fell onto the bed tired from this mornings adventures. I laid there for awhile as a thought suddenly popped into my head.

'itachi,sasuke,shisui, old creepy stalker guy... who are they? and how come every time I run into the same guy with dark hair and dark onyx eyes they all seem to say the same thing.... talk about weird..'

I thought to myself as I felt a shiver go down my spine as goosebumps rose onto my arms. I shook off my thought and looked at the time to see that it was now mid afternoon already.

"well off to take a shower I guess."

I spoke to no in particular. I got up from the bed and made my way to the shower. after about an hour and a half I got out the nice warm shower and  got dressed into some clothes I bought earlier.

I wore just a plain warm sweater and some jeans as well as some leg warmers as it was a bit cold out. I slipped on my shoes to go outside for a walk.  while I was walking around the lively town I looked around as I saw people down the busy streets. older man meeting up with friends to have drinks while having a smile on their faces and women talking with each other as they watched their children play around  with each other and having fun. I smiled to myself as I  kept on walking down along the dirt road not really having a clue to where I was headed or having any clue to where I was walking to. I just decided to allow my feet to guide me to where I needed to be. as I was down a bit further from the crowded streets I ended up near the lake I was at a few days ago. it was quite as I walked down the hill and sat on the edge of the small dock that was there. I sat there in silent just enjoying the peace and quite  as I thought about everything that happened to me in such a short time that I've been here in the leaf village and all the wonderful people I have meet along the way. I was so grateful to naruto and his friends who has been nothing but kind to me and the situation I was in. the longer I sat there in silent I couldn't help but think back to the four Uchihas had met. I felt weirdly tied to them somehow... I just don't know why. I felt as I've been pulled towards them by the universe  because everywhere I go in this village I've been face to face with an Uchiha  and felt a sort of safe and security whenever I'm around them. like I trusted them with my life. it's odd to think and  feel this way towards them as I haven't really spend anytime with them or anything like that, the most I've done was run into them or in sasuke case, pull an angry naruto away. I sat there a bit more and stared up at the big bright moon that was shining down on me and leaving its reflection on the glossy lake below me. I sighed as I was hoping in some weird way that the moon would magically talk to me and tell me the reason I was here and my purpose of being here. but I got nothing in return other than the never ending questions and thoughts in my head. I was starting to feel a headache from all the running thoughts in my head as I groaned in frustration and stood up to head back to the apartment for some well needed rest. as I was a block away from naruto's place I couldn't help but feel multiple starring eyes on me. I got a bit worried and sped up my walking until I was finally at naruto's. I unlocked the door as I quickly made my way inside as I slid my shoes off and locked the door behind me. I changed into some pj's and fell asleep. what I wasn't aware of was the 4 red eyes watching me at the lake until I made it back to the apartment.

I really need to start paying attention to my surrounding more....
