"You're friends with Ms. Hwang Yeji ? . Why are you with her a while ago? Soobin asked soon after they took a seat in a cafe near the university.
Ryujin can't handle the flirtiness of her boyfriend anymore. It's already crossing the line. Why is he making her feel this way? As her boyfriend, isn't he supposed to make her feel assured, not insecured? Sure, he would say things to express his affection towards her. But his actions are completely contradicting his words.
"Nope, we aren't friends" Ryujin answered. "I warned her to stay away from you"
" Babe, I was just thanking her for letting me borrow her notes. I am friends with her because she's my senior" Soobin assured her girlfriend with a sweet smile.
"Friends, friends, friends ~ f*ck your stupid friends, Soobin! Soobin was surprised with her girlfriend's words. He wandered his gaze across the room, bowing her head to the people who have heard his girlfriend.
" Babe please, calm down. I don't know why you're ~~"
"You don't know? That's because you never cared!" Ryujin already increasing the tone of her voice making her boyfriend drag her outside the cafe.
Soobin run his hands over his head. Frustrated with this attitude of his girl. "What's the matter with you, Shin Ryujin? I don't even understand you anymore! You knew even before that I am like this, I am friendly. It was just you who perceives this the other way around." Soobin explained with also an increased tone.
" Friendly? Really? With almost the girls in your block? Friends with most of senior girls, specifically that Hwang Yeji? Ryujin outrageously pointed out to his boyfriend. She's hurt, her feelings were hurt but she will never cry over this stupid love.
"Be honest with me Soobin" Ryujin paused. "Are you a gay?"
"What in the f*cking nonsense are you talking about, Shin Ryujin?" Soobin asked laughing over his girlfriend's question.
"Do you really think, being friends with a lot of girls will make me gay? If I were gay then I would never even date you, Ryujin. If I were gay then I would never wasted my time courting you for a year. This is so f*cking frustrating!"
Ryujin pressed her lips. Not sure of what to say because her boyfriend's words make all sense. But that was not the real deal.
"Exactly Soobin! You courted me for a year for me to just end up feeling insecured. Sure, you are friendly. I accept such reason but please stop making me feel so insecure. If you love me, you will avoid those girls to make me feel that I am the girl who's already enough for you " Her breath got a bit heavier, so does her heart. She swallowed the lump in her throat, trying her best not to shed tears.
I accept him as a social butterfly, but I will never accept him as a social flirt. Ryujin said this only on her mind.
"Ryujin, that was the one thing that I don't admire about you. I never intend to make you feel that way, it was only you who's making yourself feel that
way"Silence was the only thing left after. No one dared to open their mouth. Soobin just looked sideways, clinching his jaw. Ryujin bowing down her head. After a while someone spoke up. It was Soobin.
"Ryujin, let's break up"
F*ck you Soobin, that was supposed to be my line. Ryujin have this on her mind. She just glared at Soobin but eventually she nodded. No single tear had fallen from her eyes. No words had escaped from her mouth. They walk separately. After 3 f*cking years of being in a relationship, she's now finally free.
