"You never mentioned that you're lived-in-partner with Hwang Yeji" I said to Chaeryeong

"You made it sound gross. I had no time to tell you that we're sharing an apartment. I am not obliged to inform you, as far as I can remember" Chaeryeong answered me while focusing her eyes on the laptop screen and typing something on the keyboard.

"Chill, I was just surprised"

"Can I have a water break then? How about you?"

"Just bring me a cold soda in can, juseyo" Chaeryeong said to me

"Suuurrreee"

I get up and went to the kitchen only to see Hwang Yeji eating one of the chips I brought.

"Who told you to eat our snacks?"  She jumped, surprised for my presence. She looked at me feeling sorry, she's still holding some chips in her hand which supposedly she'd be putting in her mouth only if I didn't show up.

I walk closer to her while looking directly at her eyes. She then walked backwards until her back bumped on the door of the refrigerator. I stopped in front of her. She's a few inches taller than me. Wow, that hurt my pride a little.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know you brought these snacks. I will buy you the~"

I grabbed her wrist putting her hand closer to my mouth and eat the chips that she was holding while still not breaking our gaze. She stopped from talking and maybe too stunned for what I just did.

Frozen for a moment, I softly placed both of my hands on each of her shoulders and gently pulled her aside so I can get Chaeryeong's soda inside the refrigerator.

"It's fine, you can have some more, unnie" I smiled and left her there still not moving.

What's happening? Why can't I even move? . When Shin Ryujin acted that way, all I did is to blink. I found myself speechless. What's wrong with me? Is it because of this chips or?

I was brought back to the reality when my phone beeped. It's a message from Soobin saying that all members of the basketball team including the side court reporters will be having a meeting on monday.  I just typed 'okay' and the message was delivered. 'See you, noona' he replied. I just seened the message.

I walked back to my room. When I pass by them, they're still editing their PowerPoint presentation.

"This will be your part and this is mine, okay?" Chaeryeong said to the other girl

"Oksiee" Ryujin just shrugged.

"Unnie, are you done with your articles?" Chaeryeong asked as soon as she saw me passing by.

I saw Ryujin quickly turned to look at me. I don't know if it was only me or is she's really smiling, but a weird one?

"Uh..yep, I-I will just take a quick nap"
Seriously, why am I stuttering? I saw Ryujin's smile grew wider. I turned my back and walked to my room.

I can still hear some of their indistinct chats

"Why are you smiling like crazy, Shin Ryujin....~~" 

"No I'm not....~~~"

I closed the door and throw myself on the bed. Staring at the ceiling, I  remember what just happened in the kitchen earlier. Why would she do that? As far as I can remember, she's furious at me for getting close with his boyfriend who's now her ex. I sighed. Let's just sleep Hwang Yeji.
