It's afternoon dismissal. I am now on my way to the gym to attend the meeting when someone covered my eyes from behind. I forcefully stepped on the person's right foot and quickly grabbed an arm locking it behind his back. It's a man. 

"ow! aww! noona" Soobin cried.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know it was you" I let go of him.

"If only I knew that you've learned self-defense, then I wouldn't have done that to you. You're scary, noona" Soobin said still massaging his arm. 

I chuckled. "I'm sorry. But why are you here by the way?" 

"I was heading to the gym then I saw you. I know you're heading there too so I decided to go with you" Soobin replied.

"Can I accompany you, noona?"

" What else I can do? you're already here"

He just smiled at me and we walked together to the gym. 

Soobin is friendly. And I can say that he's a pretty boy but I see him only as a younger brother and a friend although some of his teammates are teasing him to me. I just shrugged off every time they tease us.

If there will be a society called No Romantic Relationship Since Birth, I would gladly apply for membership. I don't know I just don't feel like doing such a thing called love. I'm contented with having secret crushes and that's all. Committing to love is the last thing on my list. 

"Meeting adjourned. And boys, you know what to do. Captain Lee Dohyun, start the drill" The coach shouted.

The meeting lasted only for less than an hour. They just informed us for the upcoming basketball tournament where UCP, our school will be the host.

I packed my things and was ready to leave but Soobin approached me and asked if he can escort me to the school gate.

"No need. Focus on your practice. You're a candidate for the next team captain right. Try to study what your team captain was doing now. Don't mind me, okay?" 

"Okay, noona" He smiled and started doing the drills with his teammates.

"You looked so good together" Yuqi unnie said. She's a fourth-year communication student and one of the side court reporters alongside me.  We walked outside the gym, the sun already set. 

"Unnie. You're also shipping me with him" I said while caressing my forehead. She just laughed.

"Be honest with me, Yeji. Do he stand a chance?" Yuqi unnie wiggled her brows waiting for my answer.

I sighed. 

"I don't know unnie. Being in a romantic relationship is still not a thing for me" 

"Seriously? I can't blame you though and it's fine. I'll bet your romantic life revolves around books-school-books-school~~"

"You're right with that, unnie" I laughed and gave her a high-five.

"Do you want to grab some  drink?" Yuqi unnie asked

"I would love to, unnie. But, it's Monday, we still have school tomorrow" I said 

"Iced Coffee then?" I nodded and smiled.

We were dismissed late. I asked Chaeryeong if she wants to go home with me but she rejected my offer since their apartment was just near. I secretly smiled and quickly headed to the garage to meet my black Ducati 848 EVO. Gosh, this is the best thing my dad ever gifted to me on my birthday. 

"Hi there baby you missed me?" I talked to my bike as if it will answer me.

"Gladly, a friend refused to go with me so she didn't get the chance to ride you. It's only me" I internally laugh while putting on my helmet. I  drove outside the campus and a few blocks away a woman walking alone caught my attention. 

"Do you want a ride, miss ma'am?"
