Yeji was watching a documentary film from Netflix . We decided to eat here in the living room.

"What's the title of that film?" By watching it I can sense that it's a political documentary. So, she's interested with such thing.

"The Kingmaker" Yeji answered shortly because she's full focused on watching. Chaeryeong prepared the table and we started eating our meal.
I get interested with the film. It's in the Philippine context, though it has nothing to do with us, I still want to know what this film is trying to teach the viewers.

"Yah! Are you even training for the competition? It will be in the next three weeks" Chaeryeong asked me.

"Of course! Do you think I'm not serious for that?"

"Wait, wait, wait! Did I heard it right? Both of you competing for what?" Yeji lose her focus on the TV and faced us.

"Yep unnieee! " Chaeryeong said excitedly.
"We were both presenting our school for architectural design competition " she added

"Really? Oh my god! I'm so proud of you!!" Yeji came closer to Chaeryeong and they both jump while hugging each other. I just smiled.

"Only her?" I asked pouting. Chaeryeong grabbed my hands and I joined them in jumping while we're in a group hug. Yeji smiled at me and I smiled back. This is one of the best nights.

Opening of the basketball tournament . Teams from other universities, students, and visitors we're at the gym to join the opening.

I saw Chaeryeong with Ryujin and other girl whom I guess is closer with Ryujin. They waved at me. I'm here on the side of the court with my camera to capture moments and document events which I can put for my article.

1:00 pm is the official start of the game. The gym was crowded with students who are excused only for this day to watch. Yuqi unnie and I were in the small room at the backstage preparing our stuffs.

"Relax Yeji, it's not yet finals.  This will only be broadcast in our University channel" Yuqi unnie said. We're heading now to the court as the the game will be started.

"I'm not nervous unnie, I'm excited" I giggled.

First game will be our school's team, UCP Mighty Fox versus SU's Unicorn. Sorry, but who in the right mind would name their team Unicorn? I just find it odd

Soobin was one of the first-five and he waved at me. I just smiled. We get closer at their bench.

The referee blew the whistle. I captured the moment when both jumpers were reaching for the ball in the air. Gosh, so proud of myself. Soobin get the ball first and passed it on one of his teammate. The crowd cheered and it gets louder when our team get points in just a minute.

27-19 our school's team is leading. It's the end of the second quarter and I will be the one reporting. As usual, I pointed out the best parts of the game of both teams. When I finished, I bowed at the camera man.

I decided to walk around the bleachers to have a better angle when capturing photos.  My eyes found where Chaeryeong was so I get closer to them.

"Unnie, come here. This is the best spot to take photographs" Chaeryeong said cheerfully. Ryujin is laughing with her friend not noticing my presence.

"I know. That's why I'm here" I said while smiling. Ryujin looked at me and waved shyly. I smiled and waved back. I sat beside Chaeryeong.

I heard Ryujin and her friend laughing once again.

"This is Heejin by the way" Chaeryeong was the one introduced me to Ryujin's friend.

"Oh yeah right, sorry I forgot! Heejin, this is Hwang Yeji, Yeji, this is Heejin my friend" Ryujin finally introduced us to each other. Why was she not calling me unnie?

"Ms. Hwang Yeji, Hello!" She greeted with a smile.
"nice meeting you" I greeted her back also with a smile.

I'm back at taking photographs for the game, taking some from the crowds, and stealing snaps from that one person out there who's smiling all the time.
