The Green Dress

After the crazy dinner I went off to bed. Something was off with my magic. It wasn't dying, it was getting out of control. Or maybe I'm just hallucinating these thoughts. When I walked back to my room it was full with the water element. More water then anything. There were soft waterfalls everywhere, Diamonds floating from the ceiling, and I swear I saw a dolphin splash out of a pond. But once again, probably hallucinating the dolphin.

I quickly changed out of my mountain dress and set my headpiece aside, I dashed out of my room to Mirabels.

As I open my door and close it, Camilo steps out of his room. But this time, fully dry. Shapeshifting things I guess.

"Camilo?" I question.

"Oh, hey Tori. Where you going?"

"Oh um, Mirabels room."

We stand there for a second before I say, "Where are you going." I cross my arms in a funny manner.

"Antonio's room. Kinda promised I would have a sleepover with him," he shrugs.

Then I noticed he was carrying a pillow stuffed with a blanket.

"So adios," he saluts with one finger and walks away.

"K have fun," I say.

I then tiptoe to Mirabels room as I hear a door shut. Antonio's room obviously.

"Mirabelllll," I whisper. "You awake?"

Mirabel opens the door with a look that knew I was gonna be here.

"Welcome to your second bedroom Tori, step inside," she teases.

I giggle and stumble onto her bed.

"Dude, did you see Camilo's face? He was drenched with water," Mirabel laughs.

"Not gonna lie, it was funny," I smile.

"Totally," she says as she sits herself next to me.

"I don't think Abuela had a nice night though," Mirabel confronts. "Her face on the other hand. Not so joyful to see."

I grab one of Mirabels scrunchies and pull my hair into a bun.

"Yah, well. She's never really that thankful for those mishaps," I smile awkwardly.

"True," she mutters. "But anyway. What are you gonna wear for the festival tomorrow?"

I think for a second before I say, "I was planning on wearing an earthy kinda dress. The one that's a sage green with knitted flowers at the bottom. And I was thinking of making the tips of my hair flower vines."

Mirabel was gaping the entire time. "My God, Tori. That sounds very extravagant."

I smile and thank her.

"Let's get to bed Mirabel. We need beauty sleep for the super awesome festival tomorrow," I say as I lay down on Antonio's old bed.

"Night Bel," I whisper as I snap my fingers for the light to burn out.

"Beunas noches," Mirabel yawns.

Then it was dark with the festival awaiting for the next day.
