Questions

Cole's POV:

Lloyd had just called us all to meet upstairs. As we all got there, Lloyd motioned for us to all sit down. Once we did, I noticed that Lloyd looked concerned about something. "You okay, Lloyd?" I asked. 

"That's why I've asked you guys to come. I realized something different about Kai...did any of you know he had a tattoo? Specifically on his upper right arm?" Lloyd asked with a concerning tone. 

"My brother doesn't have any tattoos. He wanted to get one a few times, but he never ended up doing it." Nya said sternly. 

"It's of a skull burning in flames. I don't think Kai would have gotten any tattoo like that...Nya. I also want to ask if anyone knows what happened to Kai's ears." Lloyd said. 

After talking a bit more, everyone left except for me. Since it was only me and Lloyd in the room, I wanted to know if he was wondering what happened to the letters like I was. "Lloyd, you saw that he read the letters, right?" I said while looking questionably at Lloyd. Lloyd nodded, "Yea, I keep wondering about that and what Kai feels back towards us." Lloyd just looked even more stressed out now, and I felt guilty now since I brought it up. 

I rested my hand on Lloyd's shoulder, "I'm sure that Kai will be okay Lloyd." Then with that, I left the room. 

As I walked down the halls of the bounty, I couldn't stop wondering about Kai. Why he had a tattoo of a burning skull, why he didn't mention the letters, and why his ears began to bleed. Yet, I felt guilty about leaving him in the room all by himself. What if he were to wake up for a short amount of time with nobody there, or if something happened again?

I decided to go to the med-bay, and when I was inside I pulled up a chair to the side of Kai's bed. All I felt was sleepiness, and just like that I had my head down on the side of the bed sleeping away. 

Kai's POV:

I woke up, it was the next day I guess? I heard birds outside and the light through the windows could show the sun was coming up. I was tired, and my ears burnt like hell! I put a hand up to them, but pulled back my hand. Why were they bandaged? I unwrapped the bandages myself, noticing some dried blood on the inside of them. 

"What in the world...?"

As I turned back around from putting them aside, I noticed a sleeping Cole at the foot of my bed. He was sleeping away, but looked like he's been through hell. He had eye bags and messy hair, plus his hair was greasy as well. I wonder how long he's been here for. Then I thought about the letters, should I tell him? I felt better now, so I tried to get up. That didn't work out, it ended up waking Cole up from his nap. 

"Hey, Hey! What are you doing Kai? You should be staying in bed!" Cole said as he urged be to stop trying to get up. 

"I feel fine now, I want to go do morning training with the rest of you guys." I replied. 

"Well too bad, you're going to have to wait for Zane to come check on your vitals and take some scans. Plus, I'm not sure if you've even noticed-" Cole said before shutting up. 

"Noticed what?" Then Cole pointed to my arm, "Is this some sort of sick joke that you and Jay are doing, cause it's not funny!" I said angrily. I felt as if my eyes were on fire, and by the looks of Cole, I guess something was going on. I felt hot, too hot than usual. I was mad and stressed, when the hell did I get a tattoo?! Why were my ears bandaged with obvious signs that they were bleeding!? Why couldn't I train with the others...What's going on!

I felt as if I couldn't breath, I began to breath heavily and quicker than usual, I began to sweat and everything I could think of was just a blur...

"Calm down Kai! Your burning yourself!"

I'm sorry that is has been a while since another part has come out, but I've been so stuck on how to go about this story. This chapter isn't the best, and If I decided to later on I may re-do this part of the story. Anyways, It would really help me out with any feedback on what you liked and didn't like, and any ideas you may have for upcoming chapters.
