Separated but not really

"Hi, my names Ainsley" I said sticking my hand out to Addison as she starts the car. She turns her head towards me and her eyes became twice their size when she looks at my neck. I get self-conscious for a second, it can't be that bad, can it? My face starts to get hot

"Yea, um Im Addison" she said shaking my hand. "Want Starbucks?" She asks giving me a blanket from the backseat. "If you want to cover up" she said handing me it.

"Thanks and sure" I said chuckling a little. At least she didn't question it like some concern mother. And I get it I really don't want crazy eyes from random strangers. Also I've been to Starbucks like 5 times in my life you know, not really having money growing up.

We arrive to her house after a short drive, about 15 minutes. It wasn't weird, it was actually nice. She's really sweet and she has a nice voice when she sings. Looking around you can see how different her mansion is compared to Jaden's. It's less depressing and has more decorations. The house is pretty big, 2 stories high, you know all the goods. I guess they're all rich, I still don't even know what they do. How does one have this much money??

"Hey so I was thinking of having a few friends over, it'll be good to get to know them! Because your going to be sticking around. They're probably going to be around a lot when you go to the company because they never leave their boyfriends sides. Anyways now that I think of it..... We should have a party!!! Addison said excited.

"A party? I've never been to a party. like one where people do bad stuff? Like drink and smoke?" I asked to make sure. She laughed.

"Aww, you're so innocent. That's cute, I can see why Jaden is so possessive of you. He wants to protect you." She said tapping my shoulder and winking.

"Anyway I'd love to meet them. I don't have any friends except my cousin but I'm guessing I won't see her a lot now since I'm here." I said sadly thinking of Mabel.

"Oh, well, Um im not really sure how to give advice in this situation because I've never been kidnapped. But, just trust it'll get better because we aren't actually all that bad. I know you must have some part of you that thinks Jaden's cruel and evil but he's just quick tempered. That doesn't make it okay and I really dislike him for what he did to you but he'll get better" She said embracing me in a hug. Wow I did think she was a little dramatic but she was just mad at her brother. She's so welcoming its refreshing.

"Thanks now what about that party. Will you help me get ready and cover up these bruises" I asked trying to brighten the mood.

"Yessss, that's the spirit. Let me call the girls and we'll go to my closet." Addison said walking away to call. I walk out of the hallway by the kitchen toward the dining room where they're 4 guys drinking beer and laughing at something one said. I walk a little closer and one of them look my way. He gives me a weird look.

"Who are you?" he said raising his beer to point at me. He's handsome to say the least. Honey blonde hair, nice smile, and good features. I walk all the way in the dining room approaching them with the blanket still wrapped around me.

"I'm Ainsley" I said with my innocent doe eyes sticking my hand out for him to shake. He gave me a welcoming smile and takes my hand in his and starts looking me down and his eyes land on my neck. His eyes go wide.

"Woah, woah, woah. What happened there!?" He said concerned jumping up and gently turning my head to see my marks. Fuck I forgot about those. "Damn, the hickeys really aren't helping this look better. Who did this to you?" He said observing them.

"Yea, who did you piss off?" Another one said with black hair blowing the smoke out of his vape.

"Wait, what? Hickeys? What do you mean by that?" I said cluelessly rushing to the mirror hanging on the wall. "Oh um-" I said smiling to myself remembering what happened about an 1 ago.
